Entertainment is Binding Force for all People-Sandeep Marwah at 7th GFFN

More than 3000 people were astonished to see the grand opening of first day of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 on 11th of November in the campus of Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.

A non stop entertainment program was organized by the students of Asian Education Group comprising of Asian Academy of Film And Television, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian School of Communication and Asian Business School.

“Entertainment is the only way to bind and bring unity in the campus, then community and ultimately in the country” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in the beginning of entertainment segment during after noon session of 7th GFFN. The division was full of song and dances, which was appreciated by one and all.

Master Class By Vivek Agnihotri at 7th Global Film Festival

“A proper education and training can always put you on better platform. It can give you good start and progress is sure” said Vivek Agnihotri renowned film director expressing to the young film makers on the first day of 7th Global Film Festival Noida at Marwah Studios.

“Direction needs lots of concentration on your project. Writing skills is a bonus to the director” added Agnihotri in a master class who has brought his unreleased film ‘Buddha In A Traffic Jam’ as the opening film of the festival.

Vivek Agnihotri is an avant-garde Bollywood Indian film director, producer and screenwriter. Agnihotri is one of the few new age Hindi cinema film directors, known to experiment in different genres of film making. He has ventured into genres like erotica, thriller, sports, political dramas and love stories making him a multi genre director.

Agnihotri is famous for his feature films like Chocolate, Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, and Hate Stories. He has been associated with more than 1500 advertisement films so far. Festival Director Ashok Tyagi conducted the class accompanied by Pallavi Joshi.

Life Time Achievement Award to Aruna Vasudev at 7th GFFN

This time Aruna Vasudev was honored with Life Time Achievement award during the first day of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 at a grand function at Marwah Studios.

A huge audience of more than thousand people appreciated the choice of the management. Indisputable are three of Aruna’s most important accomplishments: she was the founder-president of NETPAC (the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema), the founder-editor of the Asian film quarterly Cinemaya, and the founder-director of the Asian cinema festival Cinefan. She’s an author, critic, and programmer.

“It is a great honor to present Life Time Achievement Award to Aruna Vasudev, she has been a source of inspiration for many. She is one of the first one to give shape to international film festivals in Delhi” said Sandeep Marwah while handing over the award.

Life Time Achievement Award for Subhash Goyal at 7th GFFN

This is the 7th time when an International Conference on Cooperative Movement was planned by National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited along with the 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 to propagate the need of Cooperative Societies in this country.

84th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films Inaugurated

“It has been a practice to amalgamate one of the four AAFT Festivals of Short Digital Films as a part of Global Film Festival Noida every year. This time 84th festival has been the part of GFFN” informed Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.

“Short films are very important part of festivals. Every filmmaker starts his carrier from short films. They are the beginner’s paradise” said Mahesh Aney renowned cinematographer from Mumbai while inaugurating the festival.

84th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films is showcasing some of the best films of the year especially made during 83rd batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television” said Dean AAFT.

We will present certificate to all the film makers of AAFT whose films have been the part of the festival” thanked Ashok Tyagi Festival Director GFFN.

Radio Noida Complimented on 7th Global Film Festival

“We need to learn a lot from Mahatma Gandhi, simple living and high thinking. Many more films can be made on him, he is still the hero for many subjects” said Randhir Kapoor releasing the poster of Mahatma Gandhi Forum at Marwah Studios during the opening day of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 at Noida Film City.

The festival was bubbling with energy by the young filmmakers from all over the country and many countries of the World. Known filmmaker from Bhutan Kinley Pendel, film director Vivek Agnihotri, Pallavi Joshi, ASMS Director Dr. A. K. Srivastava, Prakash Lonare of FISHCOPFED, Prof. Naveen Chandra Lohni, Vibhuti Narayan Rai IPS former DG Police opened the poster of Mahatma Gandhi Forum.

News Letter of 7th Global Film Festival Released

140 people has worked day and night for almost two months to create an international experience with 52 events as part of this gala affair” said Sandeep Marwah President requesting Randhir Kapoor to release the first news letter of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014.

“I am surprised the GFFN is in no way less than any international festival including newsletter for all the three days” said Randhir Kapoor congratulating the team of journalists involved in it.

A seminar on Cooperative Movement organized by National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperative of India Ltd in association with 7th Global Film Festival Noida during 7th International Conference on Cooperatives at Noida Film City.

How cooperative movement can be helpful in bringing tourism and cinema together was discussed by some of the prominent personalities of India including former Director of International Cooperative Alliance Dr. Daman Prakash, NFTC Vice Chairman Suresh Sharma, FISHCOPPED Chairperson Prakash Lenore, Tashi Wangdu CEO of Federation of Tibet Cooperatives In India Ltd, Subhash Goyal President IATO and Dr Bhagwati Prasad, Vice Chairman of Awas Nirman and Vitta Nigam Limited.

The first ever Chamber of Commerce for Entertainment And Media Industry will be lunched from the platform of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 has been announced by Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN today at the press conference.

Under the name and banner of “International Chamber for Media And Entertainment Industry” will be the first ever Chamber of Commerce in the World to represent only media and entertainment industry of the World.

The Chamber is being launched to promote and develop relations and business between all those countries who are looking to be in touch with Indian Film, television, media, music, education and other allied associations.

The chamber has carved out departments like Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media, Events, Music, Media Education and as other required with time.
