Curtain Raiser for 4th International Sufi Festival Ajmer

The curtain raiser for the 4th International Sufi Festival India was held at Al Ikhlas Museum and Gallery, Ajmer.Chief Guest Dewan & Head of Ajmer Sharif Dargah Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan inaugurated the event.

Gulsha begum festival director & Chairperson Kamaluddin Charitable Trust said the event was to seek the blessing of the revered Sufi saint of Ajmer shariff dargah as a tradition before the festival travelled in December to New Delhi.

The event was followed by Sufi Painting exhibition and a award ceremony.ISFI Award for Sufi Painting was awarded to renowned Artist Vijay Singh Chouhan for his work on Mughal art.ISFI Award for Music was awarded to Zakki Ali for their contribution from generation towards the Traditional Chishtiya Qawwali.

The musical concert began with the soulful sufiana kalaam on sitar by Sitar Maestro Dr sudeep Rai(Disciple of Padmabhushan Pt.Debu Chaudhuri) Followed by the kalaams of Hazrat Amir Khusrau in mesmerizing voice of Vaishali Rai made the audience swing with chaap tilak and Rang and damadam mast kalandar.

Kathak Exponent Manisha gulyani took the audience into a whirling experience with her mind blowing performance The Traditional Chishtiya Sufi Ensemble of Zakir and Zakki Ali took the audience into a trance of divine music.

The gala International Sufi Festival curtain raiser event was attended by music loving audience including Shri.Kamlendra Jha the chief patron of Kala Ankur Ackademy, Mr.Ajay Vikram Singh ( Former defence Secretery Govt.of India)Noted author Shri.Bakshish Singh,Smt.Ragini Chaturvedi and many others.

The 4th International Sufi Festival presented by Kamaluddin Charitable Trust with Marwah Studios will take place at Film City Noida on the 16th,17th and 18th of December 2014.

7th Global Film Festival Noida Showcasing Films in Ten Segments

7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 has nine segments of films screening and the 10th section is for competitive films informed associate Dean of Asian Academy of Film And Television, Noida Film City.

The festival is divided into segments of International Cinema, Indian fragment, Focus Country, Films of retrospective, films on disability, AAFT Films, ASMS Films, ASC Films, Children’s Films and competitive section of films.

The total number of films will cross more than 500, which will be screened in 11 theatres of Marwah Studios. “Like last time we are expecting more than 10,000 footfalls of the film lovers” said Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN.

7th Global Film Festival Noida Will Showcase Films From AAFT

The 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 will be the platform to showcase the films from Asian Academy of Film And Television, the premier film school of the country informed Dean AAFT.

A festival which has created a World Record of presenting itself 83rd times earlier to the audience will be projecting films for the 84th times and now is the only festival in the World to touch 84th edition.

AAFT festival is the most exclusive festival in the World, which happens four times in a year, provided space to 2000 young film directors and their technical and artistic team from 100 countries of the World to showcase their debut film.

“I can proudly say that AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films has given some of the finest directors to the state of Cinema. Love Ranjan, Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, Gurmeet Singh, Ajay Behl, Atul Sabarwal are some of them” said Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN.

7th Global Film Festival Noida Hosts ASMS Films

Asian School of Media Studies, the first Degree college of Cinema in India will be presenting its films on the international platform of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 informed Dr. A.K.Srivastava Director ASMS.

A lot of well-carved films from the department of Cinema, ASMS have been selected to be part of this international event prepared by the students of final year of BSC. in Cinema and MSC. in Cinema.

“It has been the custom to include films from the film school like ASMS, this is going to be the 11th ASMS Festival of Short Films now part of 7th Global Film Festival. Same films are again going to be showcased in a separate festival also” said Sandeep Marwah President of Global Film Festival.

The department of Mass Communication, Cinema, Fashion, Multi Media, Advertising & Public Relations of ASMS are involved in the preparation in a big way.

Asian School of Communication Involved with 7th GFFN 2014

The excitement was beyond control when 7th Global Film Festival Noida announced the participation of Asian School of Communication during the three days international film celebrations informed Mantosh Head Cinema ASC.

All the films created and directed by the students of Asian School of Communication have been selected, to be shown to the film lovers and film professionals visiting during 7th GFFN 2014 from 11th to 13th November.

Marwah Studios Hosted Exhibition of Paintings by Various Artist

Marwah Studios is the most appropriate venue for exhibition of paintings as it caters to people from all strata of life who are art lovers” said Aruna Sethi Chairperson of Life And Style Committee of Indo American Chamber of Commerce while inaugurating the exhibition at Noida Film City.

“We have been a platform to develop, promote, exhibit and highlight art of all kinds from Marwah Studios” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Media And Entertainment Committee Indo American Chamber of Commerce hosting the exhibition.

The paintings were displayd by artist like Ruchi Shah & Govind Sirsat from Mumbai, Stanley Abnes from Australia, Kamini Baghel from Jhansi, Geeta Ramaseh from Bangalore and Satwant from Delhi.

The exhibition was attended by large number of people followed by a musical evening by Salman who mesmerized the audience with Sufi numbers. Vikram Sethi curated the event.

Indo South African Film Association Enters 7th Global Film Festival Noida

“We may be far off but we are well aware of Indian Film Industry and its activities all round the World. We at South Africa would love to be part of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014” message received from the filmmakers association of South Africa.

“We have this time a strong representation from South Africa in 7th GFFN via Indo South African Film Association. Indo Senegal Film Association Partners With 7th Global Film Festival Noida

“We have been working with the country of Senegal for almost one year. It was a wonderful opportunity to visit Senegal as a state guest. It has promoted our relations in a big way” said Sandeep Marwah Festival President of Global Film Festival Noida 2014.

Indo Senegal Film And Cultural Forum is going to be part of this international festival now on 11th to 13th November at Noida Film City. The organization then formed by the Minister of Culture, Government of Senegal during his visit to India to develop and promote films, television, media and culture of two countries.
