IWFF Joins Hand With 7th Global Film Festival Noida

IWFF-International Women’s Film Forum, a body to promote and develop women in the field of films, television and media joined hands with 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 declared Sandeep Marwah Festival President.

All the women filmmakers will be given an opportunity to showcase their films at a special screening during 7th GFFN. Individuals can screen the films submitted by women even on demand.

IWFF-International Women’s Film Forum will open its membership during the festival to enroll more women interested in cinema and related business.

IWFF will also commission films on the theme of women and related to the problems of girls.

Interactive session by Tom Alter at Marwah Studios

Noida, 13th October 2014 Tom Alter visits Asian Academy of Film & T.V for a special masterclass arranged for the media students of AAFT. Widely acclaimed for his ace performances in films like Shatranj Ke Khiladi, Junoon, Parinda, Kranti, Gandhi, Karma, Sardar, Dhund-The Fog, Bheja Fry etc., Tom Alter has carved a niche for himself in Indian Film Industry” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios.

“Asian Academy of Film & Television has effectively demonstrated that good education and training is imperative and holds utmost importance. Industry interface is the specialization of AAFT”, said Tom Alter who is himself a trained actor.

The students of AAFT from all disciplines asked questions and acting tips from Tom Alter. The actor gave a rare depth of insight of his experiences and industry knowledge while conversing with the students. Tom Alter’s love for theatre and cinema and his extensive stint in Indian Cinema has made him one of the finest actors of the nation and a popular one.

Answering one of the questions, Tom Alter emphasized “that perseverance and undivided efforts are the key to success. Success is not a destination, but the road that you’re on”.

Later, Tom Alter released the first poster of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014 to be held from 11th to 13th November at Noida Film City.The event was designed by Geeta Nandakumar of Creative Vistas.

85th Batch of AAFT Inaugurated With Pomp And Show

“We have come long way, five World Records, a family of 15000 media professionals and largest number of celebrities from the same school puts every film school on other side of success” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios on the inauguration of 85th batch of AAFT.

“Asian Academy of Film And Television is now one of the best ten film schools of the World, we can only be on the top when we all will work towards better future through honest and hard working habits” added Dr. A.K. Srivastava Director ASMS.

“It may be easy to reach on the top but it is much more difficult to stay on the top. Lets all work together to support Sandeep Marwah to be called number one film school in no time” said Dean AAFT.

Romail Gulzar an alumnus from Leicester UK, Kulbinder Rai renowned singer from Leicester UK and John Jesus a well-known dress designer from Nigeria also spoke on the occasion.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Exhibition of Paintings by Surbhi Soni

“What a collection of colorful flowers on canvas, the art gallery has been converted into a beautiful garden of flowers” expressed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while lighting the lamp of inauguration of exhibition of paintings of Surbhi Soni at AIFACS, New Delhi.

Surbhi Soni of Jaipur has been conducting number of group shows; this is her first solo show at New Delhi where she has displayed her works of art in different format, size and style.

“I am amazed by the response and appreciation by the large visitors and art lovers in Delhi” said Surbhi Soni during her interview at Radio Noida 107.4FM.

The exhibition will remain open from 8th October to 11th October from morning till evening to the general public. Sandeep Marwah invited Surbhi Soni to exhibit her arts at Marwah Studios.

IPBF Will Announce New Films From 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014

IPBF– The management of International Public Broadcasting Forum has decided to launch new value based short films from the platform of 7th Global Film Festival Noida 2014.

IPBF-International Public Broadcasting Forum has produced number of radio and television programs in last few years. “Idea is to bring in intelligent media persons to work on radio and short films to create good and value based productions to be commissioned by IPBF” said Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN.

Those filmmakers or radio artists who have ready ideas to showcase their talent through theme based programs can approach IPBF to commission their works. IPBF will have its stall during 7th GFFN 2014 at Marwah Studios to identify experienced filmmakers.

World Habitat Day Observed at Marwah Studios

The UN General Assembly designated the first Monday of October of every year as World Habitat Day. This year, the United Nations chose the theme ‘Voices from Slums’. The World Habitat Day 2014 campaign aims to recognize life in slums.

WHD has given a voice to slum dwellers for improving quality of living conditions in existing slums by raising awareness of living conditions in slums;

Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Ambassador IHRO affiliated to United Nations informed members of the press how they are taking care of more than 800 students in ten different schools in ten slums and providing them free education. Apni Library, Apna Computer Centre and other medical and recreational facilities support Apna Schools.

AAFT Indeed An International Seat of Learning-Romail Gulzar

I am surprised to see the progress and development of AAFT– Asian Academy of Film And Television in last seven years when I was the student of this institution and when I am visiting my Alma Matter now” said Romail Gulzar a senior journalist from Leicester, UK invited by Sandeep Marwah to conduct Master Class in journalism.

Answering to the questions Romail said no film and television school will ever provide you this kind of practical training where any and every thing of a film studios are at the disposal of the student. “It’s a rare combination of theory, practical, industry interaction and unbelievable value additions to the film and television courses” added Romail who is the owner of Pukaar News, a well known news agency in UK.

I am proud of Romail Gulzar who has done extremely well in life, established journalist and running his own media company. I was impressed by his way of working when I visited Leicester early this year” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Later Romail Gulzar announced the scholarship of 2000 sterling pounds for the benefit of a needy student to study at AAFT. The management, faculty and administration appreciated the gesture.

Music Makes You Spiritually High-Kulbinder Rai

Noida, 7th October 2014 ;Popularly known as a singing policeman in Leicester, UK, Kulbinder Rai is in Noida for the release of his music album at Marwah Studios. He has always believed that music is the universal language of peace.

Kulbinder Rai has been working for the Police since 1994 and just after two years of his service, he was bestowed with an Outstanding Achievement Award by the Home Office. Witnessing violence and injustice on an everyday basis through his job, his earlier album in Punjabi song ‘Rohb’ sends out a message to people to ‘Be Good and Do Good’.

“Music makes you spiritually high and makes an individual more compassionate. Music helps to strike a fine balance between mind and heart and promotes good health” said Kulbinder Rai answering questions by media students of Asian School of Media Studies at Noida Film City.

“People who have no love for music are not normal. Music can be in any form. Music makes you feel close to God” added Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while releasing “KABHIE NAZAR” the music CD of engineer Kulbinder Rai.

Romail Gulzar of Pukar News from Leicester suggests the event in India. Later Kulbinder sang different numbers from his album. Sandeep Marwah presented life membership of International Film and Television Club to Rai.

Present at the occasion was renowned Nigerian dress designer, John Jesus. He appreciated the gesture of releasing the music in India.

Gandhi Ideology Still Works Today-Sandeep Marwah

“We have learned a lot from Mohan Das Karanchand Gandhi, he has emphasized on every small need of human being in the most simple way” said Tara Gandhi Bhatacharjee the grand daughter of Mahatma Gandhi sharing number of her experiences with her grand father in the capacity of Chief Guest.
