Workshop by Zaigham from United Kingdom for Cinema Students at AAFT

Noida  : Young filmmaker  Zaigham Hameed Butt conducted an informative workshop for cinema students of AAFT, providing valuable insights into the art of filmmaking. The workshop covered various aspects of the craft, including storytelling, screenplay writing, cinematography, editing, and sound design.

“The students were able to learn from Hameed’s experience and receive practical advice on how to improve their skills as aspiring filmmakers. The workshop proved to be an enriching experience for the students, helping them to gain a deeper understanding of the filmmaking process and inspiring them to pursue their passion for cinema,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and AAFT School of Cinema.

Zaigham Hameed Butt is a filmmaker based in UK/India and the co-founder of Soul For Screen Ltd, a film/tv/vfx production company. After completing his BA hons in filmmaking at the prestigious London College of Communication, UAL, Zaigham decided to start his own venture along with fellow university colleagues to produce stories that could leave an impact while entertaining their audience.

 His diverse portfolio consists of short films (playing on platforms like Disney Plus Hotstar, Shorts TV, MX Player) commercials (brands like Just Eat, Papa Johns) and music videos with known companies here in India.

He was also recently selected as a director amongst 75 artists across India for the Creative Minds of Tomorrow program at IFFI Goa organised by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting India. Zaigham is currently working on a TV show along with a short film series while developing a new marketing media vertical for Soul For Screen.

David Meshki From Georgia Will Work With ICMEI To Promote Art And Culture

Noida: In a positive development for India-Georgia relations, Devid Meshki, a prominent figure in the art and culture scene in Georgia, has announced his collaboration with the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) to promote art and culture between the two nations.

David  Meshki, who has been associated with the Georgian National Opera and Ballet Theatre and is a well-known art promoter, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration with ICMEI and his desire to strengthen ties between the two countries through art and culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI & Marwah Studios.

Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat Nominated Patron for Indo UK Cultural Forum

Noida: The Indo-UK Film and Cultural Forum has announced Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat as its new patron during his recent visit to Marwah Studios for the 11th Global Festival of Journalism. The forum aims to promote cultural exchange and collaboration between India and the UK through the medium of films and other cultural activities.

Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat President of BJP Uk & President at MATV London,  is a renowned social activist, who has been working towards promoting education and sustainable development in UK. He has also been actively involved in promoting cultural exchange between India and UK.

Bob Blackman Now Patron to Indo UK Film and Cultural Forum

Noida: In a new development, MP Bob Blackman of the British Parliament’s House of Commons has been named the patron of the Indo-UK Film and Cultural Forum. The forum aims to promote cultural exchange and collaboration between India and the UK through the medium of films and other cultural activities.

“With Blackman’s appointment as patron, the forum is expected to receive a boost in its efforts towards strengthening the Indo-UK relationship. Blackman has been a vocal supporter of the Indian community in the UK and has played an active role in promoting ties between the two countries,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Indo UK Film and Cultural Forum while presenting the certificate of Patronship.

Robert John Blackman (born 26 April 1956) is a British politician who has been the Member of Parliament MP  for Harrow East  since 2010.  A member of the Conservative Party , he has served as the Joint Executive Secretary of the backbench 1922 Committee  since 2012. Blackman was the Member of the London Assembly  (MLA) for Brent and Harrow  between 2004 and 2008.He is the recipient of Padma Shri Award of India for developing India UK Relations.

Asian Unity Alliance Celebrated Asian Unity Day on 2nd April 2023

Noida: The Asian Unity Alliance (AUA) celebrated Asian Unity Day on 2nd April, under the dynamic leadership of Sandeep Marwah, the founder of Noida Film City, India. The AUA, a non-profit organization that promotes unity and cooperation among Asian nations, brought together 48 countries from the continent to commemorate the occasion.

The celebrations were marked by a series of events and activities, The highlight of the day was the poster launching by the different institutions under the title of Asian, including AAFT University, Asian Academy of Film and Television, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Academy of Arts, Asian News Agency, Asian Event Management etc.

In his keynote address, Sandeep Marwah emphasized the importance of Asian unity in achieving peace and prosperity in the region. He stressed the need for closer economic and cultural ties among Asian countries to promote growth and development.

The Asian Unity Day celebrations were a huge success, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds and cultures to celebrate the shared values and aspirations of the Asian community. The event was supported by WPDRF-World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

Workshop by Action Director Parvesh Khan at AAFT

Noida: Parvez Khan, a renowned stunt and action director from Bollywood, recently conducted a workshop for students of acting and direction of Asian Academy of Film and TV. The workshop was held at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City and was attended by aspiring actors and filmmakers from all over the country.

During the workshop, Khan shared his vast experience and knowledge of the industry with the participants. He taught them the basics of action choreography and how to execute stunts safely and effectively. He also gave valuable tips on how to approach action scenes and make them more impactful.

The workshop was highly interactive, with participants getting the opportunity to ask Khan questions and receive personalized feedback on their work. The students were thrilled to learn from a veteran like Khan and were grateful for the opportunity to improve their craft.

AAFT Signed MOU with Fintech & Blockchain Association USA

Noida: The Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with  Fintech & Blockchain Association CIC Cambridge, Ma, USA.,  an organization that promotes new media, including Blockchain, Metaverse Artificial Intelligence. The MOU was signed to enhance the academic and technical capabilities of AAFT’s faculty and students in the field of new media.

As part of the agreement, AAFT and IAFCF will collaborate on research and development initiatives, exchange faculty members and students, and organize training programs and workshops on metaverse artificial intelligence and other new media technologies. This partnership will enable AAFT students to gain exposure to the latest developments in new media, preparing them for successful careers in the industry.

“The MOU is expected to open up new opportunities for AAFT’s faculty and students in the growing field of new media and provide them with access to cutting-edge technologies and resources.,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT. The event was supported by Indo American Film & Cultural Forum (IAFCF). Dr. Bhaskar Sindhu also confirmed the visit of few experts from USA next week.
