New Delhi: Sandeep Marwah, a well-known media personality, has been awarded the Mahadevi Verma National Poet of India Award for his outstanding contribution to the promotion of literature, arts, and crafts. “The award recognizes Marwah’s significant work in raising awareness about the importance of art and culture, as well as his efforts to promote Indian literature both nationally and internationally,” expressed Abhay Sinha Coordinator of the Association.

During the award ceremony, Marwah spoke about the vital role that literature, arts, and crafts play in shaping our cultural identity and building bridges between communities. He emphasized the need for continued support for these fields, particularly in the current age of digital media.

Marwah also highlighted the importance of harnessing the power of technology to preserve and promote traditional art forms and to make them accessible to a wider audience. He emphasized the potential of social media and digital platforms in reaching younger generations and generating interest in India’s rich artistic heritage.

“The Mahadevi Verma National Poet of India Award is a significant recognition of Sandeep Marwah’s contribution to the cultural landscape of India, and it is hoped that it will inspire others to follow in his footsteps,” said Ragni Ranjan the founder of the organization in Global Kayastha Conference at India International Centre.

New Delhi: Renowned media personality Sandeep Marwah, founder of Noida Film City & President of Marwah Studios, recently shared his insights on the opening of a new over-the-top (OTT) channel Freizeit Media and the vast potential it holds for growth at Constitutional Club in New Delhi.

Marwah emphasized that the demand for OTT platforms has skyrocketed in recent years and is expected to continue rising. He highlighted the many opportunities that OTT offers for content creators, as well as the convenience and variety it offers to viewers. Marwah also stressed the importance of producing quality content and employing effective marketing strategies to succeed in the highly competitive OTT market. With the growing popularity of OTT, this new channel is poised to be a major player in the industry.

Noida: In a recent talk with journalism students of AAFT,  Dr. M. M. Goyal, a renowned educationist, stressed the importance of ethics in journalism. He emphasized that journalism is a powerful tool that can influence public opinion and shape the course of events, but it comes with great responsibility.

Goyal urged the students to maintain the highest ethical standards in their reporting and avoid sensationalism and biases. He also highlighted the need for journalists to remain objective and independent, and to prioritize accuracy and factual reporting. Goyal’s talk inspired the students to strive for excellence and uphold the values of truth, integrity, and accountability in their work as journalists.

Noida: The International Journalism Centre (IJC) recently conferred the title of Life Member to the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India, His Excellency Ashraf Shikhaliyev, for his contribution in enhancing cultural relations between India and Azerbaijan through the Indo-Azerbaijan Film and Cultural Forum, presented together by Lord Remi Ranger of House of Lords British Parliament and Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University.

The ceremony took place during the 11th Global Festival of Journalism in Noida, an initiative aimed at promoting the importance of journalism in fostering cross-cultural exchange and mutual understanding. The ceremony was held in Noida during 11^th Global Festival of Journalism  and attended by dignitaries from all over India, including representatives from the media, government officials, and members of the film and culture fraternity. He is also the Patron of the Punjabi Society of British Isles, Combat Stress and Fellow of the Prince’s Trust. As a key supporter of youth and skills development, Rami is a member of the government’s Apprenticeship Delivery Board and an Ambassador for the Food and Drinks Industry in the development of apprenticeships and job creation throughout the UK.

In 2005 he was made a Member of the British Empire and in 2016 the Commander of British Empire for his services to British Business and the Asian Community.

Noida: The documentary film “Legend of Kharibulbul” by professional Swedish photographer and filmmaker Mikael Silkeberg begged the Award of Distinction at 11^th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2023. The award was presented by Festival President Dr. Sandeep Marwah to Ambassador of Azerbaijan H.E.  Dr. Ashraf Shikhaliyev in a grand function after the screening of the film.

“Art and culture play a vital role in strengthening the ties between India and Azerbaijan. Both countries have a rich cultural heritage that can be shared and celebrated. Collaborations in fields such as music, dance, and cinema can deepen mutual understanding and promote people-to-people connections. Let us work towards building a strong cultural bridge between our nations,” spoke Dr. Sandeep Marwah at the event.

“India and Azerbaijan enjoy warm and friendly relations based on historical and cultural ties. Bilateral cooperation in areas such as energy, trade, and investment has strengthened our partnership. I am confident that our countries will continue to work closely to promote regional peace, stability, and prosperity through art and culture,” added Dr. Ashraf Shikhaliyev.

The documentary, shot on the initiative of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Sweden, with the support of the National Commission of Azerbaijan for UNESCO and Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture, features remarks by a number of well-known cultural and artistic figures about history of Karabakh and its crown – the city of Shusha, its music and literature, as well as historical figures. The shootings of the film also took place in Shusha.

Goyal now on the board of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI while mentioning Goyal’s all qualifications and achievements to the members of the Chamber in a close meeting at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

Prof. N.K. Goyal  is President, CMAI Association of India (CMAI), which is India largest ICT association of India with 48,500 members and 54 MOU partners worldwide. Prof. Goyal is the only person in the world having being honoured five consecutive years at world’s largest Consumer Electronic show called CES, Las Vegas.

CMAI – Association of India Communication Multimedia and Infrastructure,  is also known as organizers of ICT World Communication Awards, National Education Summit and Awards, Global ICT Forum, training and formation of Cyber Security-Ethical Hacking and safe web development. CMAI has so far trained more than 10,000 delegates in Cyber security and CMAI interacts with more than 1,00,000 Educational Institutes.

Prof. N.K. Goyal is also the Chairman Emeritus of Telecom Equipment Manufacturers Association of India (TEMA); Vice Chairman, ITU APT India; Chairman CTIA, India; Ambassador for India and South Asia, Commonwealth Telecom Organization, UK; President Cyber Security Association of India( CSAI); President Association of Educational Institutes and Universities( AEIU); and is actively involved in policy formulations and development of industrial policies specially related to telecom, mobile, cyber security, ICT, education and skills development sector.
