Noida: ICMEI President Sandeep Marwah, founder of Noida Film City, addressed the members of the International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) on the occasion of May Day on 1st May. In his address, Marwah highlighted the significance of May Day and its relevance to the media and entertainment industry.

Marwah spoke about the history of May Day and its origins in the labor movement, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the contributions of workers in the media and entertainment industry. He also stressed the need for improved working conditions and better remuneration for workers in this sector.

Furthermore, Marwah underscored the role of the media in advocating for workers’ rights and the need for media professionals to use their platforms to promote social justice. He asked Film Federation of India and Indian Motion Picture Producers Association to come forward for the good cause.

New Delhi: Renowned media personality and educationist Sandeep Marwah addressed the the opening session of 2^nd Cyber Security Conference in New Delhi, organized by Aditya Tikoo of   Global Counter Terrorism Council (GCTC) at The Institute of Engineers on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg.

Noida: Radio Noida 107.4FM celebrated the 100th episode of “Mann Ki Baat” by inducting 10 professionals to the media and entertainment committee of the Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India. The event was graced by the former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Tirath Singh Rawat MP, who presented the induction certificates to the members.

Sandeep Marwah, President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, inducted 10 professionals who are members of ICMEI, to represent 10 segments of media including Print, Radio, Television & OTT, Cinema, Advertising and PR, Music & Sound, Events, Media Education, Animation & Special Effects and Piracy.

During the event, Sandeep Marwah spoke about the need for standards in the media and entertainment industry. The induction of the professionals to the committee is a significant step towards ensuring that the industry meets the necessary standards and regulations.

The Bureau of Indian Standard, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India is responsible for formulating and implementing standards for various products and services in India. The media and entertainment committee is an important part of the Bureau and plays a crucial role in regulating the industry.

The event was graced by the former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Tirath Singh Rawat, who is now a member of Parliament. Sandeep Marwah, the founder of Marwah Studios, spoke about the importance of radio and the radio program by the Prime Minister.

“Mann Ki Baat” is a monthly radio program by the Prime Minister that aims to connect with the people of India and discuss important issues affecting the nation. The 100th episode was a milestone for the program, and the poster ceremony was a way to celebrate the occasion.

The event was organized by Radio Noida 107.4FM, which is a community radio station that serves the Noida region of Uttar Pradesh. The station has been instrumental in promoting local talent and providing a platform for community engagement.

“Firstly, I want to emphasize that we are all concerned about the nation and our students. It is important that we work together to create a supportive environment that fosters learning and encourages students to develop their full potential. Our mission at AAFT University is to provide a world-class education to our students, and we must ensure that we do everything in our power to achieve this goal,” Marwah added.

“As faculty members, you are the backbone of our institution. Your dedication and commitment to our students are what make AAFT University one of the leading educational institutions in the country. We must continue to work together to provide our students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their chosen careers,” expressed Dr. Marwah.

“I also want to remind you that education is not just about learning facts and figures. It is about developing critical thinking skills, fostering creativity, and nurturing a sense of curiosity and wonder. Our students must be equipped with the tools they need to navigate an ever-changing world, and it is our responsibility to provide them with the education they need to do so,” emphasised Marwah.
