Group Show by Rangayan Inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah

A group show of paintings and sculptures by the members of Rangayan was recently inaugurated at the Visual Art Gallery, India Habitat Centre, by renowned film and TV media personality, Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts.

The exhibition featured a diverse range of artworks by participating artists, including Avijit Biswas, Bharti Arya, Dr Bijoy Kumar Dutta, Bishwaranjan Bhunia, Him Chatterjee, Jyoti Prasad Mallick, Kanika Mukerjee, Manoj Sarkar, Partha Sarathi Bhattacharjee, Perdeep Kumar Chauhan, Sonali Maitra Paul, Sumit Sen, Tapas Basu, and Tirthankar Biswas.

The event was a grand success, with many visitors attending and showing their appreciation for the artworks on display. The exhibition provided a platform for both emerging and established artists to showcase their talent, and featured a wide range of styles and techniques, from traditional to contemporary. The Rangayan group hopes to continue promoting and exhibiting the work of talented Indian artists in the future, and to inspire new generations to appreciate and create art.

During the event, Sandeep Marwah highlighted the beauty and richness of Indian art, which has been an important part of the country’s cultural heritage for centuries. Chairman of AIFACS, Biman B. Das, also spoke about the importance of promoting and supporting the arts in India, and the need to provide more opportunities for artists to showcase their work. The exhibition was a great success, showcasing the talent and creativity of some of the most talented artists in India, and providing a platform for them to share their work with a wider audience. Biju Patnaik Awards For Peace Presented by Aks

New Delhi, 28-04-2023: On the 26th death anniversary of great Indian Leader “Bhumi Putra Sh. Biju Patnaik”, Aks Society Delhi organized Bhumi Putra Honourable Biju Patnaik International Peace Awards 2023 at Kaveri Kala Sangam, New Delhi. Aks Society is a Delhi based non-Profit Organization headed by the renowned Classical Odissi exponent, Actress, Choreographer, Social Worker Dr. Chandana Raul.

The prestigious award was conferred upon 10 highly successful personalities from different fields with national and international repute who have made extraordinary achievements in their respective arenas : Major-General P. K. Saigal veteran from forces, Dr Chitra Mudgal writer,  Ranjan Kumar Das IAS, H. E. Mossi Nyamale Rosette Ambassador of DR Congo to India, Dr Darmayasa, President of the International Divine Love Society, Malta, Inderjeet Sharma Director, International Hindi Association USA,  Pandit Tilak Raj Sharma Memorial Trust USA,  Namrata Chadha, Eminent Women Rights Activist, B. L. Gaur, Eminent Author, Anand Prakash Singh,  Announcer and Writer from Mumbai,  and Dr Gaurav Gupta Founder President of Global Trade and Technology Council of India.

A galaxy of renowned dignitaries of national as well as worldwide recognition were present during the event including Shri Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios, Dr. Ashish Kandhaway (Director, Swami Vivekanand Cultural Center, Myanmar, Shri Rajesh Mahapatra, Editor, PTI, New Delhi, Prof (Dr) Diwakar Sukul, Founder/Director, The Kamkus Clinic, London, Dr Satnam Deuchakar, CEO Deuchakar trust global Executives Director business development Royal Family UAE, Zena Chung, Founder and Director of Korea-India Business and Culture Forum and Prof Haritma Chopra, Principal, Maitreyi College, University of Delhi.

The event started with the singing of the National Anthem followed by an Odissi dance, which was a tribute by Dr Chandana Raul to Shri Biju Patnaik. Following this, there was the presentation of an Armenian dance by Anna Norik Hosepyan, Armenia, a Bharatnatyam dance showcased by Nritya kalp Dance Academy, New Delhi and a Contemporary dance put forth by students of the Dancing Life Academy, New Delhi.

The audience were awestruck by the global representation of the various dance forms, thoroughly enjoying the vibrancy and exuberant performances put forth by all the dancers.

The learned dignitaries and delegates expressed their heart-felt respect and gratitude to the great leader “Bhumi Putra Sh. Biju Patnaik”, by expressing their thoughts on the visionary ideas that he had with regards to the modern state and how his contributions managed to reach out to people internationally, thereby connecting the world globally.

The event came to a close by the vote of thanks which was offered by Dr. Chandana Raul, Chairperson of Aks Society, New Delhi. She narrated her struggles from a small, infamous district, Koraput, Odisha and how she dedicated her life to the art of Odissi dance to date. She says, such award ceremonies are a token of gratitude to those individuals who are evermore involved in the process of contributing to the betterment of society as a whole. Sandeep Marwah also spoke on art and culture.

World Day for Safety and Health at Work Celebrated at Marwah Studios

Noida: The Embassy of Vietnam in India, Sicily Media, and AAFT University recently collaborated to launch the poster of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The launch event, held at Marwah Studios campus, was attended by several dignitaries, including Bui Trung Thuong, Trade Counsellor of the Embassy of Vietnam, Dai Van Linh, Director of Sicily Media, Do Le Thang, a media person from Vietnam, and Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University.

During the event, Sandeep Marwah emphasized the importance of workplace safety and health, stressing the need for creating awareness about the same. He emphasized that safety should be the topmost priority in all workplaces, and employers must take necessary measures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for their employees.

ICMEI Signed MOU with Vietnam Media Organization

Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Vietnam-based media organization Sicily Media have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote the animation business in both countries. The MOU was signed in the presence of Bui Trung Thuong, Trade Counselor of the Embassy of Vietnam in India, and media expert Do Le Thang.

The signing ceremony, held at the ICMEI headquarters in New Delhi, saw the exchange of the agreement between Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, and Dai Van Linh, Director of Sicily Media. The MOU aims to enhance cooperation and collaboration between the two organizations in the field of animation and content creation.

The MOU also provides for the exchange of information, expertise, and best practices related to the animation industry, which will help promote mutual growth and development. The partnership is expected to create new opportunities for animators and content creators in both countries and provide a platform for collaboration and innovation.

Master Class by Writer Ramesh Tekwani from Mumbai

Noida: Renowned writer and media expert, Ramesh Tekwani, recently conducted a Master Class at the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT), where he shared his insights and expertise with aspiring cinema students. Sandeep Marwah Honored with Doctorate by French University

Raipur: Renowned media personality and educationist, Sandeep Marwah, has been honored with a Doctorate in Literature (D.Lit) by a prestigious French university at Raipur for his outstanding contribution to the media industry. The degree was presented to him by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel, and Dr. Vivek Choudhary, Vice President of Ecole Supérieure Robert de Sorbon, France.

Sandeep Marwah Spoke About Women Empowerment at Vigyan Bhawan

New Delhi: Renowned media personality and founder of Marwah Studios, Sandeep Marwah, recently spoke about women empowerment at Vigyan Bhawan. Music Workshop by Dhingra Brothers at AAFT School of Performing Arts

Poster of 7th Global Fashion and Design Week Launched at ICMEI

Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT School of Fashion and Design and AAFT School of Interior Design launched the Poster of 7th Global Fashion and Design Week  in a grand ceremony at AAFT. The poster was unveiled by dignitaries and industry experts, highlighting the importance of fashion and design in today’s world, scheduled for 4th to 6th May, 2023.

Sandeep Marwah, the founder of AAFT and President of ICMEI spoke about the significance of fashion and design in our daily lives and how it plays a pivotal role in shaping our future. ICMEI Signed MOU with Korean Cultural Association

Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea India Cultural & Economy Exchange Association (KICEA) on recently to promote cultural exchange and cooperation between the two countries.

The MOU was signed by Rajiv Mathur of Indo Korea Film and Cultural Forum on one side and   Eom Nam Suk, founder & Chairperson of KICEA, in the presence of dignitaries and industry leaders from both countries. The agreement aims to strengthen cultural ties between India and Korea by facilitating collaborations in the fields of art, culture, film, and media.

Sandeep Marwah highlighted the importance of cultural exchange in building bridges between nations and promoting peace and harmony. He expressed his optimism for the fruitful partnership between ICMEI and KICEA, which will bring together the creative minds of both countries and pave the way for new avenues of collaboration.
