IACC Celebrated Independence Day of America

New Delhi: A grand party was organized by Indo American Chamber of Commerce     at Hotel Hyatt to celebrate the Independence Day of United States of America, which falls on 4th July.

“To serve the business needs of our members, to act as a catalyst in promoting economic growth between the two countries, to protect and promote the collective bilateral need and interests of the Indo-US business community, to effectively lobby with two governments on significant bilateral issues affecting Indo-US commerce,” reminded S.K.Sarkar National President of IACC in the opening of the session.

“Indo American Chamber of Commerce is honored to welcome the most distinguished and popular person in town H.E. Kenneth I Juster Ambassador of United States of America to India. We are working together to develop and promote many disciplines of business and to promote relations between the people of two countries,” said Naveen Chawala President of North Council of IACC.

“I am touched by the celebrations of Independence day of USA today, though it is bit early but this has given me opportunity to meet people of like minded who have something or other to do with America,” said H.E. Kenneth I Juster Ambassador of USA to India.

“We have done enough and still we are working on education and art & culture affiliations, associations, interactions with US and its different organizations. Now I can publish a book on Indo American relations,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University and Chairperson for Media & Entertainment Committee and Education Committee of IACC.

AAFT Supported Peace Drive by Amarjeet Singh

Noida: A peace march to cover 50,000 KM covering all the 29 States and 7 Union Territories of India and 6 countries including Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Malaysia and Pakistan was flagged off from Marwah Studios.

The car along with his supporting team by Amarjeet Singh Chawla will touch Delhi and   cover all the important places and the Gurudwaras-the religious places of Sikhism to revive the original tour of the first religious leader Guru Nanak.

“We are supporting the cause of Love, Peace and Unity through Art and Culture. Our every step will touch humanity which we think is the biggest   religion on Earth,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor AAFT University.

MSTV and Radio Noida will cover the 50,000 Car Drive simultaneously. The message of peace will be delivered to largest number of people through news coverage.

“I am encouraged by the gesture extended to me by   Asian Education Group and Marwah Studios. I will take 165 days to cover my journey,” said Amarjeet Singh Chawala.

Postage Stamp on Mahatma Gandhi Released at Czech Republic Embassy

New Delhi: A postage stamp to comrade 150th Anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, the Government of   Czech Republic released a stamp on Mahatma Gandhi at Embassy of Czech Republic in New Delhi.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University, the visiting Director General of Ministry of Trade from Czech Republic Richard Hlavaty, Milan Hovorka Ambassador of Czech Republic to India, released the Stamp. Roman Masarik Deputy Head of The Mission conducted the event.

“It is great pleasure and honor for me to release the new postage stamp on Mahatma Gandhi designed by the Government of Czech Republic to remember him on his 150th Anniversary. The people of India are touched by the gesture of Government of Czech Republic,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University & President ICMEI.

“Mahatma Gandhi has been   not only Indian Hero but he is considered as the great international personality. You will find the largest number of Books, Films, Stamps and Statues on Mahatma Gandhi in the World. He has been considered as the most popular public figure in the World,” added Dr. Marwah.

Richard Hlavaty Director General Department of Foreign Economic Policy also spoke on the occasion. H.E. Milan Hovorka thanked the guest of honor and the large audience consisting of Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Diplomats and people from business, art and culture fraternity.

5th Edition of Professional Boxing at Marwah Studios

International Day Against Drug Abuse Observed at AAFT University

Noida: The General Assembly decided to observe 26 June as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking as an expression of its determination to strengthen action and cooperation to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse.

Supported each year by individuals, communities and various organizations all over the world, this global observance aims to raise awareness of the major problem that illicit drugs represent to society. Known singer Ashok Masti released a poster on this occasion.

“This year’s theme highlights that justice and health are two sides of the same coin when it comes to addressing drug problems,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Associations in a press meet at Marwah Studios.

“Effective responses to the world drug problem require inclusive and accountable institutions of criminal justice, health and social services to work hand in hand to provide integrated solutions, in line with the international drug control conventions, human rights obligations and the Sustainable Development Goals,” added Dr. Marwah while addressing the students of AAFT University.

Indo South African Cultural Association Moves Further

Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry invited Officers from High Commissioner of South Africa to discuss further as to what more can be added to the current affairs of the forum.

Indo South Africa Cultural Association was proposed and inaugurated by then the special guest of President of India and visiting State Guest from South Africa Her Excellency Elizabeth Thabethe Deputy Minister for Trade And Industry, Government of South Africa, way back in 2013 informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah added that he was honored by Muhammed Bilaal Ismail Leader of the delegation and Coordinator for Y20- South African Youth for International Diplomacy during Bricks Summit at New Delhi accompanied with Dr. Musawenkosi Donia Saurombe of North West University and Samantha Beynon.

International Olympic Day Celebrated at AAFT University

Noida: Olympic Day was introduced in 1948 to commemorate the birth of the modern Olympic Games on 23 June 1894 at the Sorbonne in Paris. The goal was to promote participation in sport across the globe regardless of age, gender or athletic ability informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University and Patron to Indian Federation of United Nations Associations.

Olympic Day is celebrated all around the world: hundreds of thousands of people – young and old – participate in sports activities, such as runs, exhibitions, music and educational seminars.

“Olympic Day is nowadays developing into much more than just a sports event. Based on the three pillars “move”, “learn” and “discover”, National Olympic Committees are deploying sports, cultural and educational activities,” said Paul Song Director of International Youth Fellowship Korea based in Delhi.

“Some countries have incorporated the event into the school curriculum and, in recent years, many NOCs have added concerts and exhibitions to the celebration,” added Kim Soo Yeon Director International Youth Fellowship, Korea.

Commemorating the birth of the modern Olympic games, Olympic Day is not only a celebration, but an international effort to promote fitness and well-being in addition to the Olympic ideals of Fair Play, Perseverance, Respect and Sportsmanship.

India And Libya Will Work Together For Promotion of Art

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and President of AAFT University was invited by H.E. Ahmed H. M. Gebreel Charge d’ Affaires of The Embassy of The State of Libya to discuss the promotion of relations between two countries.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah briefed Ahmed Gebreel about the working of ICMEI and requested the Charge d’ Affaires to inaugurate the committee on Libya at ICMEI.

We are pleased to inform you that we have a committee on Libya in ICMEI and students forum on Libya in AAFT University. Our most of the International summits are attended by Libyan officers also,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

“We invite you to look for yourself as how we are organized at International Head Quarters of ICMEI at NOIDA Film City,” added Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

“I am pleased to learn about ICMEI and Committee on Libya. Soon I would like to visit the centre,” confirmed H.E. Ahmed H.M. Gebreel Charge d’ Affaires of Libya in India.

Public Speaking Is An Art- Should Be Part of Syllabus- Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: “Whether we’re talking in a team meeting or presenting in front of an audience, we all have to speak in public from time to time. We can do this well or we can do this badly, and the outcome strongly affects the way that people think about us. This is why public speaking causes so much anxiety and concern.

Recently a public speaking competition was inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University at India International Centre organized by RevUp under the leadership of Nancy Juneja.

“Being a good public speaker can enhance your reputation, boost your self-confidence, and open up countless opportunities. These kinds of programs should be the part of the school syllabus to develop the personality of the children,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah congratulating the organizers.

Dr. Marwah was later presented with memento for his untiring contribution to promotion of arts, crafts and education in India.

Fiji Film Delegation Visited ICMEI

Noida: A delegation of film and television professionals from Fiji visited at Marwah Studios to develop and promote relation between two countries through cinema and other visual arts.

“We are very happy to receive the delegation from Fiji. Our IFFCF- Indo Fiji Film And Cultural Forum has picked up very nicely. We are in touch with the High Commission of Fiji in India. H.E. Yogesh Punja is a very help full person,” expressed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented the membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation of AAFT University to all the members of Delegation. A radio program was also recorded at Radio Noida 107.4FM.

A poster to observe United Nation’s World Hydrographic Day was released. Dr. Mridula Tandon the Co- Director of Global Literary Festival Noida also joined on this occasion.
