Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with IIFCF- Indo Iceland Film And Cultural Forum celebrated National Day of Iceland on 19^th June at AAFT University of Media And Arts, Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

A poster to mark respect to the day was released in the presence of large media students and professionals of Marwah Studios. Deputy Inspector General of Police Rajiv Sharma and Supreme Court Lawyer Surat Singh also spoke on India Iceland relations.

New committees on Iceland in School of Fashion and Design, School of Cinema and School of Mass Communication & Journalism were also inaugurated on this day.

Noida: AAFT University of Media And Arts believe in propagating all the social causes, which United Nations has marked on specific days, and support UNIC- United Nations Information Centre from last few years. A very important event of International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence was observed at   the campus by releasing the poster of the same.

The term “conflict-related sexual violence” refers to rape, sexual slavery, forced prostitution, forced pregnancy, forced abortion, enforced sterilization, forced marriage and any other form of sexual violence of comparable gravity perpetrated against women, men, girls or boys that is directly or indirectly linked to a conflict.

“The term also encompasses trafficking in persons when committed in situations of conflict for the purpose of sexual violence or exploitation,” informed Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations and Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Associations.

On 19 June 2015, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 19 June of each year the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, in order to raise awareness of the need to put an end to conflict-related sexual violence, to honor the victims and survivors of sexual violence around the world and to pay tribute to all those who have courageously devoted their lives to and lost their lives in standing up for the eradication of these crimes.

Noida: AAFT University of Media And Arts is probably the biggest network of media professions in the country. More than hundred thousand film, television, print, radio and new media professionals are associated with different activities of the University.

This time AAFT has joined hands with 9th National Science Film Festival of India 2019,the Science Film Festival of Ministry of Science And Technology, Government of India to support the festival in all manners.

Well-known Hollywood producer Director Mike Berry in the meeting threw a wonderful idea. “I am well aware of International events at Marwah Studios. I have attended some of them. No institution in the World whatever discipline they may be in, never ever conducted global events the way Marwah has been doing. He is the real show man of this industry,” said Mike Berry initiating the project.

“Global Film Festival, Global Literary Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week, Six World Records in Media and a family of 17000 media professional, One Hundred Organizations, etc. you wont find under one roof even in America. Noida Film City today is on the World Map of Cinema,” added Mike Berry.

“We are ready to work for this international convention of Cinema and my team can produce any result what an international event is looking for,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

New Delhi: The President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Dr. Sandeep Marwah visited H.E. Nejmeddine LAKHAL Ambassador of Tunisia to India to explain the wide section of activities related to art and culture, conducted by the Chamber.

“We are here to support the embassy to fulfill their aim of   high lighting relations between India and Tunisia. New Delhi: Organizers have marked 100 days to go before the opening of the Rugby World Cup by saying the challenges of staging the sport’s showpiece event in a non-traditional rugby nation have largely been overcome, most particularly with ticket sales.

The Sept. 20 to Nov. 2 tournament will feature 20 teams playing across 12 cities stretching from Japan’s northern main island of Hokkaido to Kyushu in the southwest.

“It’s the first time the event will be held outside of the traditional rugby strongholds, having started in 1987 with a Rugby World Cup held jointly by Australia and New Zealand. The tournament has also been hosted across Britain and Ireland, France and South Africa,” informed H.E. Yogesh Punja High Commissioner of Fiji to India.

“I am pleased to be here for this sports oriented program. India is coming up in Rugby team and sure soon we will be playing in World Cup,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios & Chair for Indo Fiji Film And Cultural Forum.
