Cannes: The Indian Pavilion at Cannes International Film Festival is always a meeting point for Indian filmmakers. This time the Pavilion was handled by FICCI. Secretary Information and Broadcasting Amit Khare inaugurated on the first day.

Many film personalities including Rahul Rawail, Bobby Bedi, Bhuvan Lal, Bir, Kangana, Tannistha Chatterjee, Prasoon Joshi, Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Daina Penty, Malika Sherawat, Hina Khan, Deepika Padunke and Huma Qureshi visited Cannes.

“I am lucky enough to be on the Jury of first Mobile International Festival, Cannes and also Co- President with Global Short Films Awards Cannes,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

A F I World Cinema Initiative honored Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios with Life Time Achievement Award for his World Records in films, television and media during 72^nd Cannes International Film Festival in a grand function at American Pavilion.

Noida: All the directors of different schools of AAFT joined hands together to celebrate the World Bicycle day on 3^rd June as recommended by United Nations in a joint meeting of   faculty at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Marwah Studios.

“The bicycle is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transportation; The bicycle can serve as a tool for development and as a means not just of transportation but also of access to education, health care and sport, “ said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Global Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations highlighting the needs of celebrating bicycle day.

“The synergy between the bicycle and the user fosters creativity and social engagement and gives the user an immediate awareness of the local environment, The bicycle is a symbol of sustainable transportation and conveys a positive message to foster sustainable consumption and production, and has a positive impact on climate,” added Dr. Marwah also Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Associations.

AAFT encourages Member of AAFT to adopt best practices and means to promote the bicycle among all members of society, and in this regard welcomes initiatives to organize bicycle rides at the national and local levels as a means of strengthening physical and mental health and well-being and developing a culture of cycling in society.

Noida: Global Day of Parents was celebrated at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City to promote the traditions and culture of India.

“Parental love is the only love that is truly selfless, unconditional and forgiving. We never know the love of a parent till we become parents ourselves. Parents were the only ones obligated to love you; from the rest of the world you had to earn it,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television on the poster launch ceremony on Global Day of Parents at Marwah Studios.

“The depth of the love of parents for their children cannot be measured. It is like no other relationship. It exceeds concern for life itself. The love of a parent for a child is continuous and transcends heartbreak and disappointment,” added Paul Song Director of International Youth Fellowship Korea in the capacity of the Chief Guest of the event.

A father’s goodness is higher than the mountain, a mother’s goodness deeper than the sea- is been propagating by AAFT from time to time. AAFT has also been promoting Love Peace and Unity through art and culture as its prime objective. Indo Korean Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI supported the event.

Noida: A Well-known film TV and media person Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been recently honored at Cannes during 72^nd Cannes International Film Festival at France for his extra ordinary contribution to media and entertainment Industry World Wide. This was the narration of his visit to Cannes.

“It was a great pleasure to represent your country solely where 60,000 people from 200 countries of the World from the same field of media and entertainment were present and come back home with hands full of love, success and prestige,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah six times World Record Holder in media while talking to 200 media professionals on his return to AAFT at Marwah Studios.

Life Time Achievement Award was bestowed upon Dr. Marwah during 72^ndCannes International Film Festival 2019. That was not enough as he was also nominated the Vice President of the Jury meant for first International Mobile  Cinema Presentation at Cannes. It was also a great honor for the country as he was Co- President with Global Short Films Awards Cannes this time.

Not many Indian have been lucky enough to be in Cannes with so much of importance and busy schedules. More than 50 meetings were arranged with Sandeep Marwah   with different filmmakers of different countries during his stay at Hotel Intercontinental Carlton at Cannes.

Noida: “You have to be honest to your profession, there is no alternate to hard work and strong determination is key to success,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while addressing the professionals at a workshop arranged by Ministry of Skill Development And Entrepreneur at Noida.

Talking about his journey from the inception of Noida Film City to the Chair of 100 hundred film, TV, Media, Art & Culture and Social organizations, Dr. Sandeep Marwah narrated his ups and downs and vast experience to the young enthusiastic audience gathered for brain storming session.

The workshop was organized to motivate and give new ideas to all those who are keen in getting into new businesses under government Startup India program.

Later DR. Marwah was honored with shawl and memento for his vast contribution to the growth of media and entertainment industry of India.

Noida: Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Forum of Marwah Studios organized a seminar on the Role of Media In Politics on the occasion of Death Anniversary of Late Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru at Noida Film City,.

A Poster was launched by Dr. Sandeep Marwah to mark respect to the great leader of India where he was remembered for his revolutionary reforms for India. “ We have gathered here to remember the architect of India who has given a new shape to this country. His tenure as Prime Minister from 1947 to 1962 was the most difficult period of establishing India,” said Sandeep Marwah.

Sushil Bharti Director Broadcasting of Marwah Studios initiated the seminar and media leader Rajesh Badal spoke in length about Politics and Media. Badal shared his vast experience with enormous case studies.

Milan: The Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperation of India Limited Dr. Sandeep Marwah visited the city of Milan in Italy to look into the fashion business.

Milan is considered a leading alpha global city, with strengths in the field of the art, commerce, design, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, services, research and tourism.

“I am surprised to see the fashion flowing from every lane of Milan. It has largest number of outlets of well known designers from all over the World. The visit to Milan has enhanced my knowledge on fashion,” said Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios while expressing to the press at Hotel Armani, Milan.

Milan is also regarded as one of the fashion capitals of the world, along with New York City, Paris, and London. Milan is synonymous with the Italian prêt-à-porter industry, as many of the most famous Italian fashion brands, such as Valentino, Gucci, Versace, Prada, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, are headquartered in the city.

Numerous international fashion labels also operate shops in Milan. Furthermore, the city hosts the Milan Fashion Week twice a year, one of the most important events in the international fashion system.

Florence: A warm welcome was extended to Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios by the two brothers Niccolo Ricci and Filippo Ricci at the head quarters of Stefano Ricci, a world renowned   fashion designers from Italy based at the most beautiful city of Florence.

Sandeep Marwah visited the international office and the manufacturing unit of Stefano Ricci on his invitation to Florence on his return journey to India from Cannes. Two of the best cities Milan and Florence were on the schedule of Sandeep Marwah.

“It was a great experience to see the manufacturing of one of the most expensive men’s wears by Stefano Ricci team. 60 boutiques World wide, 500 people spread out in 9000 sqare metres head quarters It is grand show in designing,” said Sandeep Marwah also President of AAFT School of Fashion And Design.

“We are more than happy to receive Sandeep at Florence. We are aware of his fashion and design school at Noida. Very gracefully we are going to build our relations very strong,” said Nicolas Ricci.

Sandeep Marwah thanked   the Ricci family for great hospitality and for accepting two AAFT students on 3 months scholarship.

Noida: Every year, on 31 May, the World Health Organization (WHO) and global partners celebrate World No Tobacco Day (WNTD). The annual campaign is an opportunity to raise awareness on the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco use and second-hand smoke exposure, and to discourage the use of tobacco in any form.

“The focus of World No Tobacco Day 2019 is on “tobacco and lung health.” The campaign will increase awareness on the negative impact that tobacco has on people’s lung health, from cancer to chronic respiratory disease and the fundamental role lungs play for the health and well-being of all people.,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios while releasing the poster at Asian Academy of Film And Television.

The campaign also serves as a call to action, advocating for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption and engaging stakeholders across multiple sectors in the fight for tobacco control.
