New Delhi: Two very important members of fashion fraternity and internationally renowned fashion designers of India Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna now on the board of AAFT School of Fashion And Design.

“We would love to be part of AAFT School of Fashion And Design, as we are sure of Sandeep Marwah’s capability and capacity. We are eager to share our knowledge and experience with the young designers,” said Rohit Gandhi receiving Marwah at his art gallery at Golf links.

12th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema Announced

Noida: The International Club of   Film And Television has announced the dates of the   12th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema today in a board meeting under the leadership of festival president Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah who has been honored and titled as the Father of Cellphone Cinema as he is the first one in India to shot a film on mobile camera and first one to start the festival of films on mobile.

“We have decided to launch 12th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema today where 11th and 12th January will be two events and 5thFebruary will be the last date of submission the entries, The results will be declared on 12th of February on International Day of Journalism,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of IFCPC.

There are two segments one still photographs and second video where a fiction, a music video and New Gathering can be submitted to www.ifcpc.com for large number of awards totaling to two hundred thousand rupees.

International Universal Health Coverage Day Observed at AAFT

Noida: On 12 December 2012, the United Nations General Assembly endorsed a resolution urging countries to accelerate progress toward universal health coverage (UHC) – the idea that everyone, everywhere should have access to quality, affordable health care – as an essential priority for international development.

“International Universal Health Coverage Day aims to raise awareness of the need for strong and resilient health systems and universal health coverage with multi-stakeholder partners,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television while releasing the poster at Marwah Studios.

Each year on 12 December, UHC advocates raise their voices to share the stories of the millions of people still waiting for health, champion what we have achieved so far, call on leaders to make bigger and smarter investments in health, and encourage diverse groups to make commitments to help move the world closer to UHC by 2030.

“The theme for the 2018 UHC Day is: “Unite for Universal Health Coverage: Now is the Time for Collective Action.” Informed Dr. Marwah also Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Associations.

Sandeep Marwah Special Guest at Indo UK Festival

New Delhi: UK and India have been rated as the top five investors in each other’s economies since 2010. By the end of Q2 2018, the total trade in goods and services between India and UK grew by 20% to 19.6 billion pound.

“The India-UK FutureTech Festival was a major initiative designed to promote this productive partnership by strengthening the tech alliance between the two countries. The India-UK Tech Partnership was instituted back in April 2018 by India’s PM Narendra Modi and UK’s PM Theresa May,” said Sir Dominic Asquith KCMG, British High Commissioner to India at the opening ceremony.

The festival took place in New Delhi on 11 and 12 December and commenced with keynote addresses by Sir Dominic Asquith KCMG, British High Commissioner; Amitabh Kant, Chief Executive Officer, Niti Aayog; Elizabeth Denham, UK Information Commissioner; K Ananth Krishnan, Chief Technology Officer, TCS; and other honorary dignitaries. Independence Day of Haiti Celebrated at Marwah Studios

Noida: The staff of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry celebrated the National Day of Haiti at their International Headquarters at Noida Film City.

“We extend our heartiest congratulations to the people of Haiti on their National Day and look for much stronger and better relations with India in the coming years,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI while releasing the poster of friendship at Marwah Studios on 1st January.

Prior to the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, India sent 140 troops from the Central Reserve Police Force to serve in the United Nations Mission in Haiti in August 1995. The Indian contingent was tasked with providing police protection and maintaining law and order in the country, and served until the end of the mission in June 1996. Diplomatic relations between Haiti and India were established on 27 September 1996.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated La Verve Du Art

New Delhi: An exhibition under the title La Verve Du Art was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group at Open Palm Court, India Habitat Center recently.

“Art is a product that is made with the intention of stimulating the human senses as well as the human mind , spirit and soul. An artwork is normally judged by how much impact it has on people and how much they appreciate it. Some people also get inspired,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while inaugurating the show.

“IKA is an initiative to bring art into the life of all, bringing the artists and art lovers together to a fair and unbiased platform, to help bring joy and much needed escape to another worlds., IKA has been successfully promoting arts and artists for past 7 years,” said Ruchi Chadha art curater

“This year we have introduced our new exhibition “La Verve du Art” Season 1, It’s a group show of some of the finest, senior and upcoming creative minds of our country,” added Gaurav Chawla.

Liberation Day of Cuba Celebrated at ICMEI

Noida: ICMEI- The working team of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television celebrated the 60th Liberation Day of Cuba at Marwah Studios.

“On January 1, Cubans marked National Liberation Day. Some 60 years back, the revolution led by Fidel Castro and his rebel army defeated the last Cuban capitalist government and drove the nation’s fate along a new path: Socialism,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Chamber to the media professionals gathered to participate in the event.

“I extends my heartiest congratulations to the people of Cuba on their 60th Liberation Day on 1st January and pray for stronger and lively relation between two countries,” added Dr. Marwah while releasing the goodwill poster.

Independence Day of Sudan Celebrated at ICMEI

Noida: The management of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry celebrated the National Day of Sudan at the headquarters of ICMEI with the media students of AAFT.

“We have wonderful relations with Sudan and cultural diplomacy raises the level of   relationship instantly. I extend my heartiest congratulations to the people of Sudan on their National Day and wish them a   successful years ahead,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

Independence Day is the main national holiday in the Republic of the Sudan. It is celebrated on 1 January since 1956, when Sudan gained independence from Great Britain and Egypt.

The official ceremony that marked the gaining of independence was held on 1 January 1956 at the People’s Palace. That day both the Egyptian and British flags were lowered and the new Sudanese flag was raised by Ismail al-Azhari.

New Delhi: Renowned film, television, media and art promoter Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios was presented with an art and culture award by Kiren Rijiju the Union Minister of State Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India at a grand function at Old Fort Grounds on the opening day of 12th Delhi International Art Festival for promotion of art and culture and uniting the whole country through arts.
