ICMEI Delegation Visited Embassy of Egypt

New Delhi: A delegation of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry comprising of President Dr. Sandeep Marwah and Secretary General Ashok Tyagi visited Embassy of Egypt to India and met the Cultural Councilor there.

“We welcome you to Egyptian Embassy and are well aware of ICMEI and Sandeep Marwah deep rooted association with our country. Dr. Marwah has extended enough cooperation and contribution to this association,” said Ahmed Ibrahim Aly Minister Plenipotentiary.

“Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been the first person to bring award from Cairo International Film Festival ten years back. He has been Chairing Indo Egyptian Cultural Forum from last ten years. He has entertained many Egyptian artists and important visitors at his well-known film studios,”Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada Cultural Councellor, Embassy of Egypt while accepting the scholarship.

“The visit to Egyptian Embassy has revived our relations today. We will plan more events and interactions to develop and promote relation between two countries,” said Dr. Marwah. The Commercial Councilor, were also welcome the delegation.

A Patron ship of Indo Egypt Cultural Forum was handed over to H.E. Dr Heba Elmarassi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of India and the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Minister Congratulated Sandeep Marwah on Being Nominated Chancellor

New Delhi: India’s Minister of State for Human Resource Development responsible for Higher Education and Minister of State in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India Satya Pal Singh congratulated Dr. Sandeep Marwah on his being nominated as Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts.

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to Dr. Sandeep Marwah on being nominated as the Chancellor of the University and wish him great success in his endeavor. I am sure he will further work to his best and add on to what he has already achieved and proved to the World of Education,”

Sandeep Marwah has been honored four times honorary Doctorate, has been five times World Record Holder, recipient of largest number of International awards and has been representative of India on number of occasions abroad. He has been chairing more than 100 voluntary organizations.

Founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios and Asian Academy of Film And Television he is also the President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

AAFT Propagated About National Voters Day

Noida:In order to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, Government of India has decided to celebrate January 25 every year as “National Voters’ Day” It has been started from January 25, 2011 to mark Commission’s foundation day.

Observing that new voters, who have attained the age of 18 years, were showing less interest in getting enrolled in the electoral rolls, a National Voters Day was celebrated at Marwah Studios.

“it is important to motivate young students to get themselves enrolled in voters list and then encourage them to use their right to vote, we have decided to celebrate Voters Day at AAFT,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group a family of 15000 media professionals.

Speaking on the occasion the Commissioner of Scouts & Guides Rak K. P. Sinha mentioned that, “We also need people like Sandeep Marwah to propagate this subject of Voters Day through media. 14 lakhs cadets- part of Scouts and Guides, spreading all over India, need to be added soon in the voters list.”

A poster was launched to mark respect to National Voters Day at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida in the presence of large media students of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

International Day of Education Celebrated at AAFT

Noida: On 3 December 2018, the United Nations General Assembly adopted with consensus a resolution proclaiming 24 January as International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for peace and development.

“The international community reiterated that education plays a key role in building sustainable and resilient societies, and contributes to the achievement of all other Sustainable Development Goals as it dedicated a special day to celebrate education worldwide,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah an educationist, President of AAFT and Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Association.

“UNESCO, as the specialized United Nations agency for education facilitates the annual observance of the Day in close collaboration with main education actors like AAFT. I appreciate the efforts of AAFT in celebrating such an important day in the year,” said Onuel Uka member of Indo Nigerian Film Association.

Mahboob Afzal Director at Al Salomah Medical Tourism P Ltd., Alisonou Husanboy Cameraman, Akrom Isakov Film Director, Kuliev Azizbek actor and renowned acress Shakhzoda Matchanova from Uzbekistan were also part of the celebration. Adeep Tondon renowned film maker from Mumbai also joined the poster release to celebrate International Education Day.

Marwah Special Invitee at President Ramaphosa Lecture

The first IBSA Gandhi Mandela Memorial Freedom Lecture was organized by H.E. Mr. Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa President of the Republic of South Africa in the presence of Shri Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India at Hotel Leela.

“Mahatma Gandhi and anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson Mandela wanted to see a world where there was tolerance for each other’s religion, race, caste and regional affiliation, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said .

Speaking at the first IBSA (India, Brazil, South Africa) Gandhi-Mandela Memorial Freedom Lecture, Ramaphosa recalled Gandhi’s famous words, “Be the change you want to see in the world”.

“But what was the change Gandhi and Mandela wanted to see. They wanted to see elimination of poverty and a world where nations respect one another and multilateralism was upheld and respected and there was tolerance for each other’s religion, race, caste and regional affiliation,” he said.

He said South Africa is looking forward to build its relations with India. “We are two countries separated by ocean but bound together by the collective energies of our people. The legacies of Gandhi and Mandela have never been more important than they are today. We have a collective role in addressing global economy which is facing a number of challenges right now,” he said.

“I am very happy on the visit of H.E. Ramaphosa, it has added a lot to India and South Africa relations. Indo South African Film And Cultural Forum was formed earlier by the special guest of President of India and visiting State Guest from South Africa Her Excellency Elizabeth Thabethe Deputy Minister for Trade And Industry, Government of South Africa, way back in 2013,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chairman to the association.

“It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet my Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has always believed in best of the relations between India and rest of the countries of the World,” added Marwah. Indo China Cultural Forum of ICMEI Supported Chinese Day

To celebrate this important day of New Year, which comes with its own set of traditions, The People’s Republic of China, in coordination with the CD Foundation, organized a grand event at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi. The purpose of the annual ‘Happy Chinese New Year’ program supported by Ministry of Culture and Tourism Of China is to convey joy, friendship and auspicious wishes of Chinese people to their friends all over the world

 The program started with lamp lighting by Chief Guest Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India and Luo Zhaohui, Chinese Ambassador to India. On this occasion, hundreds of people along with members of the foreign diplomatic corps, the foreign correspondents in India and the Indian Foreign Service officers were present in the program.

“Cultural and economic relations between China and India date back to ancient times. The Silk Road not only served as a major trade route between India and China, but is also credited for facilitating the spread of Buddhism from India to East Asia,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

 On the occasion, cultural programs presented by artist showcased the best of Chinese music and dance. The splendid art and culture of Inner Mongolia of China to Indian People was the main point of attraction. An acrobatic troupe of Inner Mongolia Bureau of National Art Troupe attracted viewers by their amazing acrobatics performances. Every performance by Chinese artists caught the attention of the audience. The Indian artist at the function also presented the cultural program. Indo Gambia Cultural Forum Announces Scholarship

Noida: IGFCF- Indo Gambia Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry announced a scholarship for the deserving student from Gambia.

Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI handed over a scholarship to H.E. Jainaba Jagne The Ambassador of Gambia to India at the Embassy of Gambia in New Delhi.

Scholarship includes a course fee of short-term course of AAFT along with boarding and lodging for the student for a period of three months. It also includes the film production charges.

“The Indo Gambia Film And Cultural Forum was recently formed and inaugurated by Her Excellency Jainaba Jagne during second Fashion week in last April. That time ICMEI has promised to provide this scholarship to Gambia,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

“There is lot to do with the country of Gambia, this is just the start,” added Marwah. “We are thankful to ICMEI, AAFT and Marwah Studios for providing this beautiful benefit to us. Soon a deserving student will be here to be the part of Indian Film Industry,” said H.E. Jainaba Jagne.

Indo Lesotho Cultural Forum Presented Scholarship

Noida: “We are more than happy to hand over the scholarship of AAFT Short Term Course to   the student from Kingdom of Lesotho as the gesture of goodwill and to promote relation between two countries under Indo Lesotho Film And Cultural Forum,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chairman of ILFCF.

“After signing MoU between the Embassy of Kingdom of Lesotho and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry we inaugurated Indo Lesotho Film And Cultural Forum. Handing over the scholarship is the next in the list ,” said Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

“It is rare when you are given three benefits at the same time. One that I have collected the scholarship for the deserving student from Kingdom of Lesotho, second I have received the collection of Press coverage of our activities and third I am carrying the research work conducted by AAFT School of Mass Communication and Journalism on Lesotho. I pray for very strong relations between ICMEI and Embassy of Lesotho,” expressed H.E. Bothat Tsikoane High Commissioner of Kingdom of Lesotho to India while addressing the media persons at Marwah Studios.

Makhatwe E. Mankimane First Secretary High Commission of Lesotho, Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI and many other dignities were also present there. High Commissioner also celebrated the registration of fifth World Record of Sandeep Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah Honored at Prime Minister’s Constituency

Varanasi: The Union Minister of State General V.K.Singh Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and Union Minister of State Independent Charge K.J. Alphons Ministry of Tourism, Government of India honored Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI –International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at a grand function at Prime Minister’s Constituency at Varanasi.

“The Non Resident Indians have great contribution in developing and bringing India to new platform. They have proved, where ever they are settled, that an Indian can do wonders in their profession and business,” said General V.K. Singh addressing to Non Resident Indians in a GOPIA- Global Organization of People of Indian Origin at Hotel Taj at Varanasi.

“Every one deserve awards but some of you have done extra ordinary in their fields and few have proved even staying back in India with their expertise in foreign markets of different countries, Dr. Sandeep Marwah is one of them,” said Sunny Kulathakal President of GOPIO.

Alphons Minister of Tourism was also briefed that Dr. Marwah has attracted more than 1.2 Million people from all over India and 145 countries of the World to Noida Film City as the founder of the project in last 25 years of his non stop contribution to films, television and cinema tourism besides running a tourism and hospitality Institute. Minister appreciated Dr. Marwah’s contribution to Tourism.

Noida: The special meet of one of the most important organizations of Non Resident Indians GOPIO- Global Organization of People of Indian Origin had a meet at Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s constituency of Varanasi at Hotel Taj.
