7th Global Festival of Journalism Honored Journalists

Noida: Journalism has always been considered as the fourth pillar of the society. Journalism is a difficult profession and needs lot of study, consistency, patience and research in detail. Eight years back 12thFebruary- an International Day of Journalism was declared by renowned international media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah, who has been in media now for 40 years.

It was decided to honor and highlight all those journalists who have done well in their carrier but somehow not been honored much before. 7thGlobal Festival of Journalism Noida 2019 this time presented life membership of International Journalism Centre to many and memento of GFJN to others.

“It is our great pleasure to present and honor all those journalists who have done well in their profession and also who have helped this profession to remain as one of the most prestigious professions of the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.

World Radio Day Celebrated at 7th Global Festival of Journalism

Noida: The second day of 7th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2019 attracted many more countries and their heads in India to be part of this great gala international event.

United Nation has already declared 13th February as the World Radio Day to emphasis the importance of one of the oldest medium of media. A poster was launched by all the dignities to mark resect to World Radio Day.

“We are lucky to have our own Radio Station and we are well versed with the pros and cons of the station. One million people of this belt is directly associated with us through radio. Now radio can be heard all over the World with radionoida.fm through net. The importance of Global Festival of Journalism rises with radio day falls within these three dates,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah explaining the importance of GFJN.

“I congratulate all of you on this World Radio Day. Celebration journalism means celebration of freedom. It is very important to look for your rights in freedom society but also you should worried for your duties towards your country and society,” said H.E. Michael A A Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India.

World Radio Day Celebrated at 7th Global Festival of Journalism

“We need to bring change in the pattern of presentation of news. Positive news must be the major part of   mediums, negativity spreads a lot of negativity in the society. A balancing is required in todays journalism,” said K.L.Ganju Consulate General of Republic of Comoros to India.

“Being journalist means the most responsible profession and you cannot take even one single event easy. They are the soldiers of the society and keep all of us alert of what is happening in the country,” added Ricardo A Berna Charge d’ Affaires Embassy of Panama in New Delhi.

“After Sun rays it is radio waves which cover the surface of the world maximum. Radio has Played a very important inning in past and it has been revived      now in last few year,” said Kulwinder Singh Kang former Additional Director All India Radio, Ministry of Information And Broadcasting Government of India.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival honored all the dignities with the Life Membership of International Journalism Centre of ICMEI and memento of the festival.

Exhibition of News Papers Inaugurated on the Second Day of 7th GFJN

Noida: Exhibitions are always been part of all festivals. They are integrated section of all the Global Festivals designed by the international maestro Sandeep Marwah at Noida Film City the ground place of Marwah Studios and AAFT.

“We have many departments working at the same time. Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media, Audio, Video, Publication, Research, Design, Still Photography are some of them. This is the presentation of Mass Communication And Journalism Students who have designed the cover page of News Papers,” explained Dr. Sandeep Marwah at the exhibition.

“The students are always very talented, but they need proper guidance to come up to the international standard. I appreciate the two scholarships which were presented by AAFT to Ghana Students have done wonders to their vision and caliber here,” said H.E. Michael A. A. Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp and thanking Indo Ghana Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI.

“This is my third time in 30 days. A Marwah studio has a lot to offer to the World of Art and Culture. No one can compare to them in films, television and media presentation. New Delhi: Large number of national and International Organizations hve joined and now supporting 7th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2019, one of the most exclusive property in the World.

The event is presented by International Journalism Centre and supported by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. 7th Global Festival of Journalism on 12th to 14th February

Noida: One of the most exclusive festivals of the World-The 7th Global Festival of Journalism Noida is going to start from 12th February to 14thFebruary at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City from 10am to late evening.

The festival will highlight extra ordinary topics on journalism by way of Workshops, seminars, talks, and interaction programs by the journalist joining from all over the World. The most important is that festival and its management has declared 12th February as the International Day of Journalism eight years back and festival is there to mark respect to the historical date.

Large number of Indian and foreign journalistic organizations will be participating in the festival. Three-day festival will showcase more than 30 events of different kinds.

“We have already received many confirmations from different parts of the World for participating in 7th Global Festival of Journalism. We hope that we will be able to reach to our targets this time,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival.

Last Date Extended for 12th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema

Noida: 12th IFCPC was launched on 11th January.The last date of receiving entries for 12th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema 2019 has been extended to 31st March 2019 and results will be declared in the first week of April, 2019 informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Festival President.

Speaking to the Press Club of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah once again informed that festival has four kinds of entries- they are 1. still Photographs of any kind 2. a music video of any genre 3. a fiction film and 4. News coverage, all the videos should be of approximately of 3 minutes.

“We have already started receiving entries from all over the World. It is decided to issue Participation certificates to every person submitting their entries. Large number of awards have been announced and will be distributed in the first week of April, “said Marwah.

Gudmundur Stefansson Parton to Indo Iceland Cultural Forum

New Delhi: Indo Iceland Film And Cultural Forum extended his Patron ship to H.E. Gudmundur Arni Stefansson Ambassador of Iceland to India during the visit of ICMEI delegation to Embassy of Iceland in New Delhi.

A delegation of ICMEI visited the Embassy of Iceland in New Delhi and briefed the Ambassador about the formation of Indo Iceland Film And Cultural Forum.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah Presented the Patron ship to the new Ambassador and asked to advice on the next step under Indo Iceland relations.

“We are honored to present the patron ship of IIFCF to H.E. Gudmundur Arni Stefansson and confidant that we will grow under his leadership. We are planning bigger programs to propagate our relationship World wide,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“I am thankful to ICMEI especially Sandeep Marwah for his continuous support to Government of Iceland by way of art and culture diplomacy. We appreciate his efforts,” said H.E. Gudmundur Arni Stefansson.

Stefansson is an Icelandic politician, former Minister for social affair and diplomat. He served as the Ambassador of Iceland to multiple countries including Ambassador of Iceland, to Albania, Argentina, Kuwait, Cyprus, Serbia, Syria and United States.

AAFT Scholarship Offered to Student from Iceland

Noida: The last Ambassador of Iceland to India H.E Thorir Ibsen inaugurated Indo Iceland Film And Cultural Forum at ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment at New Delhi.

“We have the opportunity to work with the last Ambassador and we could organize a film festival, a tourism interaction, launch students club on Iceland etc. Now we are planning to add few more things to our association,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

A scholarship of short-term course at AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television was presented to H.E. Gudmundur Stefansson Ambassador of Iceland to India during the official visit to the delegation to Embassy of Iceland.

“The scholarship include the foreign registration charges, course fee, boarding, lodging for three months and production charges for the deserving student as recommended by the Ambassador,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah while handing over the scholarship at Marwah Studios.

“It is a great honor to be part of the chamber and I thank on behalf of my Government for the offer extended to the student of Iceland to study in India. We will work together to bring our friendship to next level,” said H.E. Gudmundur Arni Stefansson Ambassador of Iceland to India.

Miss Multinational 2018 was Extraordinary Pageant

New Delhi: The 2nd edition of Miss Multinational pageant, held on 21 January 2019 at NCUI Auditorium & Convention Centre, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi, India. Sophia Senoron of Philippines crowned Daniela Nieto of the United States Miss Multinational as her successor by the end of the event.

Miss Multinational Pageant Awards Super Girls

New Delhi: The second edition of Miss Multinational Pageant came out with super awards for the participants from all over the world. The first three consisting of 2nd Runners Up went to Miss Algeria Nihed Markria, 1st Runners Up went to Miss Mexico Tania Mauricio and Miss Multinational won by Miss USA Daniela Nieto.

“Miss Multinational is the beauty pageant with purpose. Every girl must indulge herself into one or another social work where a persuasion is required. Now they all are brand ambassador of social awareness,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the final show at New Delhi.
