New Delhi: “It is a huge country and we need more enthusiastic people who can lead the nation in every field possible, be it an education, hospitality, tourism, media, any manufacturing, any services etc. There is a need of good leaders and this country can grow many times,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts at Global Leadership Summit at Constitution Club.

A Global Leadership Summit was organized by Global Leaders Foundation along with 18^th National Intellectual Awards 2018 to promote and motivate people from different industries manly from education.

“Education plays the most important part in building up a good leader. All educational centers should be very concern what all has been delivered in the classroom and outside class,” added Lt. General K. M. Seth former Governor of State of Chhattisgarh.

A series of awards were presented to the dignities and later Ramesh Tripathi founder of the organization also honored Dr. Sandeep Marwah with title as Global Green Ambassador for his deep study and untiring contribution towards improving environment

Noida: “Languages are the most powerful instruments of preserving and developing our tangible and intangible heritage. All moves to promote the dissemination of mother tongues will serve not only to encourage linguistic diversity and multilingual education but also to develop fuller awareness of linguistic and cultural traditions throughout the world and to inspire solidarity based on understanding, tolerance and dialogue,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and World Peace Development And Research Foundation at the poster release to celebrate the International Mother Language Day declared by United Nations.

“Languages, with their complex implications for identity, communication, social integration, education and development, are of strategic importance for people and planet. Yet, due to globalization processes, they are increasingly under threat, or disappearing altogether. When languages fade, so does the world’s rich tapestry of cultural diversity. Opportunities, traditions, memory, unique modes of thinking and expression — valuable resources for ensuring a better future — are also lost,” added Dr. Zoltan Wilhelm -Cultural Councellor and Director Hungarian Information & Cultural Centre addressing the media persons.

AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television, ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Association supported the event.

Noida: A dance recital by well-known odissi dancer Sharon Lowen was presented where she not only performed three different set of dances but also explained them in detail. It was a learning exercise for many media persons attending the same.

“It was a great decision to have an international star to perform Indian Dance. It has added a lot to the value of cultural program,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of   the festival. “This is my first performance at Marwah Studios. I never expected such a terrific response from the young generation,” said Sharon Lowen.

Sharon Lowen is an Odissi dancer, trained since 1975 by Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra. She has performed and choreographed for film and television and presented hundreds of concerts throughout India, North America, Asia, Africa, the United Kingdom. and the Middle East.

 Sharon came to India in 1973 after degrees in Humanities, Fine Arts, Asian Studies and Dance from the University of Michigan as a Fulbright Scholar to study Manipuri and later Chhau and Odissi.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah Presented the life membership of International Journalism centre to Sharon along with memento of Global Festival of Journalism.

Noida: A powerful, prestigious and a valuable National Award after the name of Father of The Nation Mahatma Gandhi was constituted by the Asian Education Group in association with International Journalism Centre and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“Never before any award has been constituted for Journalism after the name of Mahatma Gandhi. The idea behind this award is to felicitate all those people who have spend years in the field of journalism and their work is worth quoting for the research and education, ”said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the award committee.

Apart from being a national leader and social reformer, Gandhi was a great communicator. More than any one else, he recognized that communication is the most effective tool to shape opinion and mobilize popular support

Gandhi, in a journalistic career spanning nearly four decades, edited six journals. In 1933 Gandhi started Harijan, Harijanbandhu, Harijansevak in English, Gujarati and Hindi, respectively. These newspapers were the vehicles of his crusade against untouchability and poverty in rural areas. These papers published no advertisements even then they enjoyed wide circulation.

A letter of congratulations was sent to Shri Pranab Mukherjee as a gesture of Goodwill. Now he has been the Patron of Asian Education Group.

Noida: Dream Comes True-when you talk about 101th convocation of Trainees of AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television. Never ever any institution related to film, television and media celebrated such a marvelous number in the shape of convocation, in the World.

The colorful convocation gowns and symmetrical black gowns of students were creating new energy and buzz in the campus. The excitement of receiving the most prestigious diplomas in media were about to be handed over to the deserving students of AAFT.

“It is a day of double celebration as we have crossed the number of 100 as far as convocation of students of AAFT is concerned. It shows the growth of film business in India and the quality of education we have been delivering from last twenty five years-a quarter century,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the most popular film school of the Globe.

63 students passing out in this batch after finishing their short term courses in Production Direction, Editing And Sound Recording, Acting And Presentation, Camera And Lighting Technics, Script Writing, Graphics And Animation, Sound And Radio Programs etc. informed Amir Abdullah Director of the institution.

A set of awards was also presented to the topers and to all those students who have done extra ordinary well in extra circular activities round the year. A poster was launched to remember Father of the Nation- Mahatma Gandhi, as it was his Death Anniversary.

“Be truthful to yourself, be honest to your profession, be helpful and supportive, be patriotic and nationalist are few things, which will take you heights. You will be remembered for your humanity,” added Dr. Marwah at the closing function.

Noida: The first ever festivals of Journalism of Asia and second in the World created a wonderful opportunity for journalists from all over India and abroad a powerful cultural exchange.

International Journalism Centre and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television jointly presented the 7^th edition of Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2019 at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.

“It was exactly eight years back we announced 12^th February as the International Day of Journalism under International Journalism Centre. To Mark respect to our own decision we started first ever festival of journalism on the fixed dates of 12^th, 13^th and 14^th of February. We feel elevated now, when hundreds of organizations all over the World have started celebrating this particular day,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.

“We are amazed to see the   quality and quantity of the program. Never ever attended a festival of journalism before though I have in journalism for many years     before joining Foreign Service,” said H.E. Muhamed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I am thrilled to carry from here a scholarship of AAFT for the student from Azerbaijan, the festival has won the heart of Azerbaijan,” added H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India while receiving the scholarship from Marwah.

“The participation of Czech Republic in Global Festival of Journalism has enhanced our relationship with India. Indo Czech Cultural Forum is doing well and creating awareness about our activities al over India and abroad,” said Roman Masarik Deputy Head of the Mission Embassy of Czech Republic.

The cultural diplomacy is the most remarkable in building relations. I am happy to be here and would like to join hands with ICMEI for more activities,” expressed P. Murugaesh Counsellor of     High omission of Republic of Singapore.

Earlier an exhibition of still photography designed by students of Asian School of Media And Studies was inaugurated by the dignities. A scholarship of short term course AAFT was also presented to Ambassador of Azerbaijan.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored all the dignities with the life membership of International Journalism Centre of ICMEI.

Noida: An Indian film institute AAFT presented scholarship of a short-term course to the student of Azerbaijan during the inauguration of 7^th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2019.

“We are honored to present the scholarship of Asian Academy of Film And Television to Ambassador of Azerbaijan to handover to the deserving student from Azerbaijan on this auspicious day of International Day of Journalism to have better relation in media with their country,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“Indo Azerbaijan Film And Cultural Forum has been working in promoting and developing relation between two countries and so far has done commendable jobs   to do so. This is an another gesture and we accept it with grace,” said Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India.

Many dignities and media students attended the event from different countries of the world. 12^th February is celebrated as the International Day of Journalism.

Noida: An exhibition of still photographs by the students of Asian School of Media Studies were displayed at Studio at 7^th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2019 inaugurated by the foreign dignities.

“Photographs are the everlasting memories, a still can speak 1000 words and don’t forget that Still photography is the base of all visual media,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while introducing the need of still photography for a media students.

“Still photographs have played the best role in persevering history and in highlighting best of the information to the whole World. In todays age no one can ignore still photography,” said Muhamed Cengic a professional photographer and Ambassador of Bosnia And Herzegovina to India while inaugurating the   exhibition.

“We are now used to our still cameras, still photography is now become next to our nature from our habit. We must use camera for preserving best of the occasions,” added H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India.

“The collection of pictures of different genre has added a lot to the exhibition. These hundred photographs are leaving new energy to this studio,” said Roman Masric Deputy Head of the Mission, Embassy of Czech Republic.

“The exhibition has induced me to start preparing for the exhibition of photographs from Singapore. These photographs teaching us a lot from different actions,” said P. Murugaesh Counselor High Commission of Republic of Singapore.

K.G.Suresh Director General Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Neeraj Thakur of Press Council of India, Sakshi Joshi of News 24 and many national and international delegates were also present there.

Noida: After the grand opening of 7^th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2019 a seminar was organized to discuss and talk about todays Journalism Scenario in India in different mediums of media.

“We have seen drastic changes since we have been in media for 33 years. ‘The change is the only thing which is constant’, so we have been adjusting our self to these changes. But a sudden and sweeping changes in media in last ten years brought revolution in the industry,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah initiating the discussion on the subject.

R.K.Singh former Engineer in Chief Doordarshan, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India narrated some beautiful instances from his last experiences. Sanjay Singh Secretary Press Club of India and Political Editor News India also shared his experiences from journalism field.

AAFTian Rashid Hashmi now Editor in Chief FM TV News, Ajay Shukla Editor in Chief ITV Network and Vipin Gaur Editor Country And Politics and Secretary of News Paper Association of India spoke on the subject.

During the session a poster on Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi was released to mark respect to truthful and Patriotic Journalism. The first copy of news bulletin of day One, published and printed by the students of Asian School of Media Studies, was also released. Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored all the speakers with life membership of IJC-International Journalism Centre of Marwah Studios. Albeena Abbas conducted the event and Col. Pradeep Gupta paid vote of thanks.
