Pro Fight Boxing Competition at Marwah Studios

Noida: Last Friday, Asian Academy of Film And Television Boxing Club in association with Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation organized its 1st AKBF Pro-Fight Event held at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

“The boxing club of AAFT has begin its activities by organizing another major event by inviting professionals and giving young aspirants an opportunity to learn from heir style and way of conducting,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“We need to have more games like this. The fact is that any sports will bring good health to the nation.     Healthy Citizens means Healthy Nation,” said Manoj Tewari MP and Delhi Pradesh President of BJP while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“Marwah Studios is pioneer in supporting any good work, be it a charity, media activities, film event or sports. By joining hands Marwah Studios   has encourage another national sports which has been ignored for a long time,” said S.M. Khan former Director General Ministry of Information And Broadcasting, Government of India.

“ The sports bring in a lots of sportsmanship in students. The games are the need of the hour. It is essential for overall personality of the student. I congratulate Sandeep Marwah for adding sports to the college activities. Chandan Singh and Naseem Ahmed Professional Boxing Coach have groomed these professional players for fight event. The Best Boxers Award was given to Rakesh Lochav in the male category and to Jaspinder Kaur in the female category.

Amjad Khan an international player and founder of Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation thanked every one for their presence and being a part of the show. He also paid his gratitude to the World Boxing Champion and Olympic Medalist Amir Khan for motivating him to start this event.

AAFT Nominated Alumna Srishti Kaur as Ambassador of BBBP-DNDB

Noida: The President of Asian Academy of Film And Television- an international seat of learning nominated its alumna Srishti Kaur as the next Ambassador of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao specifically to the international marriages of our Indian girls.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah President AAFT and Marwah Studios was earlier nominated as the Ambassador of Beto Bachao Beto Badhao by Maneka Gandhi Hon’able Union Minister of Child And Women Welfare Government of India to propagate the subject to national and international level.

“I am proud to nominate my student Srishti Kaur now Miss Universe Teen to be the Ambassador of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Dhoke Baaz NRI Dulohn Se Bachao. I am sure she will be able to take the subject to the highest level,” said Sandeep Marwah.

“I am so thankful to my teacher and mentor Sandeep Marwah for trusting me to international level. I will do my best to create awareness on the subject,” said Srishti Kaur Miss Universe Teen. International designer Melvyn Noronha was also present on the occasion. The subject is seriously taken up by advocate Daljit Kaur of International Women’s Film Forum of Marwah Studios.

World Environment Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios

Noida: Like every year, this year also Marwah Studios in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Asian Academy of Film And Television celebrated World Environment Day at Noida Film City.

“We have tried our best to bring awareness of all those programs which United Nations has been highlighting now and then. More than 24 subjects round the year we take up to popularize and support United Nations,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Associations.

World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated on the 5th of June every year, and is the United Nation’s principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of our environment. First held in 1974, it has been a flagship campaign for raising awareness on emerging environmental issues from marin pollution, human overpopulation, and global warming, to sustainable consumption and wildlife crime.,” said Dr. K.D. Gupta Environmentalist and Chairperson of Environment And Climate Committee of ICMEI.

“WED has grown to become a global platform for public outreach, with participation from over 143 countries annually. Each year, WED has a new theme that major corporations, NGOs, communities, governments and celebrities worldwide adopt to advocate environmental causes,” added Dr. V.K.Goswami ICMEI representative to NASA.

“The theme for 2018 is “Beat Plastic Pollution”. The host nation is India By choosing this Theme, it is aimed that people may strive to change their everyday lives to reduce the heavy burden of plastic pollution,” said Dr. Amit Kaur Puri Scientist from AKP Foundation.

“People should be free from the over-reliance on single-use or disposables, as they have severe environmental consequences. We should liberate our natural places, our wildlife – and our own health from plastics,” said H.E. Michael Aaron Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India while inaugurating the session.

Large number of media professionals, filmmakers from Ghana, members of ICMEI, environmentalists, and students of AAFT and ASMS attended the event. A case study of Srita Vihar by J.S.Saluja was also discussed.

Sandeep Marwah Presented With Chair for Indo Vietnam Relations

Noida: International personality and an educationist Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the Chairperson of newly constituted body by the Embassy of Vietnam in India under the name and banner of Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Forum to promote and develop relations between two countries in a big way.

“We are proud of Sandeep Marwah who has such a powerful past performance. His expertize in Cultural Diplomacy has convinced and influenced us that he is the right person to be the showman of this forum,” said H.E.Ton Sinh Thanh Ambassador of Vietnam to India while honoring Marwah with the plaque of appointment of honorary chair of IVFCF.

Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Association Formed at ICMEI

Noida: First time in the history of Indo Vietnam diplomatic relations a cultural forum has been jointly created by the Embassy of Vietnam in India and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, the fastest growing film city of the World.

“History has been written in the books of Indian and Vietnam Relations when an organization has been formed to develop and promote relation between two countries through films, television, media, art and culture,” said Sandeep Marwah renowned art promoter and President of ICMEI.

“Today is a unique day for us, we have gone full-fledged Into the cultural diplomacy with India. I am sure we will be able to make our relations much stronger through the promotion of art and culture,” said H.E. Ambassador of Vietnam in India.

A poster was launched to mark the opening of the forum and respect to the culture, flags of two nations. H.E. nominated Sandeep Marwah a popular international personality from India as the Chairperson of the organization and in return Sandeep Marwah handed over the patron ship to the Ambassador of Vietnam.

German Delegation at AAFT

Noida: Macro Bretzmann, Juris Savickis and Hannes Schurger with the leader of the delegation Dr. Deepak Narwal Economic Senator of European Economic Senate visited the campus of AAFT to join hands with Marwah Studios for the promotion of art, culture and education.

AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television in association with ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry exploring the possibilities of expanding its business to Germany for the promotion of education, art and culture of India.

“We are keen in developing our relations with Germans through Indo German Film And Cultural Forum. My visit to Germany will enhance the cooperation this year. Bothata Tsikoane Patron to Indo Lesotho Cultural Association

New Delhi: The High Commissioner of Kingdom of Lesotho H.E. Bothata Tsikoane has been presented with the Patron ship of Indo Lesotho Film And Cultural Forum on his visit to the International Head Quarters of ICMEI at Noida Film City.

The Indio Lesotho Film And Cultural Forum was created last year on the arrival of high-powered delegation from Kingdom of Lesotho at International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Noida Film City.

The delegation was comprising of 14 senior members of Government of Lesotho under the leadership of the Principal Secretary Office of the Prime Minister of Lesotho Ms Mataeli Makhele who all visited Marwah Studios to understand the media and entertainment industry of India on the recommendation of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

“I am touched by the gesture of Sandeep Marwah, it was a pleasant surprise. We all together will make better relation between two countries,” said H.E. Bothat Tsikoane High Commissioner.

“We will be guided by the High Commissioner as how we have to proceed further in our action,” added Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. Earlier High Commissioner released the poster of ILFCF as a gesture of goodwill. He was accompanied with Makhatwe E. Mankimane First Secretary High Commission of Lesotho.

National Campaign For Beti Bachao Beti Padhao at Marwah Studios

Noida: The new campaign “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Dhokebaaz NRI Dulohn Se Bachao” started today from Marwah Studios as a part of social responsibility of the centre.

The Union Minister in Government of India Meneka Gandhi nominated, not very long ago, Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios, as the brand Ambassador of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign on her visit to Marwah Studios.

“It is my responsibility that any thing which is connected to the respect and integrity of women should be brought down to the table and must be propagated to create awareness so that people should not be taken for granted,” said Sandeep Marwah while releasing the new poster of the campaign.

Advocate Daljit Kaur of Chandigarh who has been fighting these kinds of cases from last so many years suggested to move with this sensitive cause.

“I am amazed by the tricks and bad intentions of the people abroad who make fool of Indian women in pretext of getting married to them, snatch the life time happiness and savings of the families,” said Daljit Kaur ready to fight for the cause for all time to come.

Sandeep Marwah Patron to Assem Asha Social Organization

Noida: Renowned Media person Sandeep Marwah has been requested to be the Patron of ten-year-old social organization working for the unprivileged children at New Delhi.

The Promoter of the organization Aseem Usman a    PG Diploma holder in Development Communication from AJK, Mass Communication Research Center, Jamia Millia Islamia decided to take Sandeep Marwah as Patron so that more activities related to education, entertainment and information can take place with these students.

“I have learned that there is a great talent in the country but you need to guide them to the right path and then have provide them with opportunity to grow, there is no looking back,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking Assem Usman.

Assem Usman presented a beautiful painting of Rabindranath Tagore to Sandeep Marwah as a gesture of goodwill created by one of the students of Aeem Asha Foundation.
