Soft Power Diplomacy Strength of India- Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: After the powerful speech of Sushma Swaraj Minister of External Affairs, Government of India in an event organized by Indian Council for Cultural Relations at Pravasi Bhartiya Kendra Auditorium on the occasion of World Cultural Day Sandeep Marwah expressed his excitement to large group of people at the centre.

“It has been more than twenty five years we have been in the business of soft power diplomacy -building up relations with the whole World through films, television, media, art and culture,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios recently titled as Global Cultural Ambassador.

Sandeep Marwah informed his association with 145 nations of the World where Marwah Studios in- link- with different Ministries, national and international organizations have organized more than 3500 events of small and big nature to be in touch with all these countries.

Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week, Global Literary Festival and many Global Summits on different Subjects round the year have attracted 145 Nations to India. “We have been able to attract two million people to Noida Film City from all over India and abroad, Where as we have been able to attract students from 120 countries of the World to study Cinema, television, media, fashion, animation, performing arts etc. in India,” said Marwah.

“The formation of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in 2014 was a step to support Prime Minister and Government of India in fulfilling the dream of using soft power of India to built-up the better and strong relations between India and rest of the World,” added Sandeep Marwah.

The event was attended by Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Diplomats, Politicians, people from all the Ministries of Government of India, members of different political parties and film, television, art and cultural fraternity.

ICMEI Join Hands With International Press Club Tashkent

Tashkent: Renowned Media person Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry met the Director of International Press Club of Uzbekistan during his visit to Tashkent. The Embassy of India organized the meeting.

“We are here to extend our hand to work together with International Press Club as providing Information is one of the objectives of ICMEI. International Journalism Centre of ICMEI is the body representing many popular and new journalistic organizations and federations,” informed Marwah.

IJC- International Journalism Centre of ICMEI indicating a group of more than 20000 journalists through different organizations, federations, news agencies, bloggers and free lancers from all over India and are in touch with 300 websites every day.

International Press Club of Uzbekistan is ready to sign MOU with ICMEI to add on value to its activities. It is going to enhance our reputation also,” said Jaioliddin Usmanov Executive Director of IPC.

International Press Club of Uzbekistan is new platform for a social dialogue, content creation, operational and objective coverage of events and reforms taking place in present day Uzbekistan. The Indian Counselor (Political, Economic and Cultural) Embassy of India Sipra Ghosh and IJC representative Sushil Bharti & Vipin Gaur were also present there.

We need More Interactions With Americans- Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: “We need more events to interact with Americans to understand them better so that more business can be generated through these understandings,’ said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Marwah Studios at American Embassy.

Sandeep Marwah was attending a talk by Prof. Dipankar Gupta-Controversy-Pros And Cons followed by Summer Wine Evening designed by the Life Style Committee and Women’s Committee of Indo American Chamber of Commerce.

“These interactions are helpful in building contacts and networking. Indo American Chamber of Commerce has a wonderful repo with the American Embassy and they are always ready to arrange these kind of events,” said Aruna Sethi Chairperson of Lifestyle committee. Acting Workshop By Vindu Dara Singh at AAFT

Noida: The most interesting course of Acting at Asian Academy of Film And Television became more happening when renowned actor Vindu Dara Singh took the Workshop with one year and short term acting students in the campus.

“ Learning whole heartedly is the key to training, and presenting that back is the second part of acting. Learning and presenting go hand in hand. I am amazed to see the quality of education at AAFT,” said Vindu Dara Singh while talking to the young actors.

A well known actress Payal Goga Kapoor was also the part of the training program designed for the students.” Diction, speech, good memory, and flexible body make a better actor. I am told that there are separate classes for each one. AAFT has the perfect course in Acting,” said Payal.

Payal Kapoor has been involved with Hindi and English Theater for the last ten years. Dekho Magar Pyar Se, Gaj Foot Inch,and 3 Flights Down are some of the plays she has acted in. Payal has also acted in a couple of Urdu and Punjabi TV serials, and has played the main lead in an Indo Canadian film. Baat Baat Mein Bigdey Haalat, a new Hindi Comedy marks her debut as a Producer.

Vindu Dara Singh is popular for his films like Garv, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Partner, Khushboo, Team – The Force, Kisse Pyaar Karoon, Kambakkht Ishq, Maruti, Housefull and his long participation in serial Big Boss, Jai Veer Hanuman and Shh Koi Hai.

IJC- International Excellence Awards at Tashkent

Tashkent: A grand event was organized by IJC- International Journalism Centre in association with NAI- News Papers Association of India supported by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry to honor some of the professionals who all have done extremely well in their professions.

Marwah Studios Join Hands With Kayumov Film Tashkent

Tashkent: The two popular film associations Marwah Studios of India and Kayumov Film of Uzbekistan joined hands to produce and present short films and feature films together in the near future.

The MOU was signed between the two production companies on the visit of Sandeep Marwah to Tashkent where he was leading a delegation of 18 media persons to Tashkent.

“We have found the counter part in Uzbekistan. A well-equipped organization with past experience can be the most helpful to you in planning and designing production in a new country. We hope that soon we will be able to start a film in Uzbekistan,” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI.

“It was a pleasure to visit Marwah Studios in my last trip to India. Now his visit to Tashkent has completed the circle. The goodwill of the studios is enough to join hands with them as India’s representatives,” said Saen Keen Director of Kyumov Film.

Indian Embassy in Tashkent Invited Sandeep Marwah

Tashkent:   H.E. Vinod Kumar Indian Ambassador to Uzbekistan invited renowned Indian Film and TV personality Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry to Indian Embassy on his official visit to Tashkent in Uzbekistan.

Sandeep Marwah briefed the Ambassador about the purpose of the visit where he expressed the desire of launching of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum, a student exchange program, a faculty exchange programs, the need for film festival of Indian Cinema in Tashkent and other cities and requirement of joint short films & Feature film production with Uzbekistan.

H.E. Viniod Kumar also added new ideas to the collaborations in relation to promotion of art and culture. Later Sandeep Marwah Presented his books to Ambassador. Sandeep Marwah Invited by the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan

Tashkent: The Ministry of Cinema, Art and Culture organized a special high-powered meeting at the ministry for the popular Indian film personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry on his visit to Tashkent in Uzbekistan.

Sandeep Marwah lead 18 member delegation to Tashkent to promote art and culture between the two countries comprising of film, television, media, art and cultural representative from New Delhi and   NCR Region for a five day trip including promotion of tourism of two countries.

Sandeep Marwah met H.E. Fukrat Zakirov the Minister of Cinema, Art and Culture and presented him with the first Scholarship of AAFT for the deserving student from Uzbekistan to learn cinema at New Delhi under short term course. Marwah also briefed Minister with all the activities of Chamber and Marwah Studios.

A film project & joint production of Feature film was discussed in length where the Government of Uzbekistan will list out soon the facilities they can provide to bring in Indian cinema to Uzbekistan. A festival of short films, a visit of film persons to Tashkent, and many other points were discussed for better relations between the two countries.

Sandeep Marwah invited the minister to India to see for himself how they are organized in Noida Film City. Golib Nematov Head of Department International Relation Department National Agency of Uzbekistan, Rizayev Shuxrat Deputy General Director, Vipin Gaur of NAI and Sushil Bharti of Radio Noida and MSTV attended the meeting.

AAFT Scholarship For Student of Uzbekistan Presented

Tashkent: Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios Presented the first scholarship of AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television for a short term course of three months to    H.E. Fukrat Zakirov the Minister of Cinema, Art and Culture during his visit to Ministry in Tashkent.

“We are happy and pleased to hand over this scholarship to the deserving student from Uzbekistan to learn cinema at AAFT for a period of three months at Noida in India, The scholarship also includes the boarding and lodging for three months. We will be expecting the student to be the Ambassador of AAFT in Uzbekistan,” said Sandeep Marwah.

“We are excited to receive this scholarship and trust that student will learn a lot and will add to the growth of Cinema in Uzbekistan,” said Minister of Cinema Art and Culture.

Sandeep Marwah thanked Minister for organizing a high powered meeting at the     ministry and discussed many points in relations to growth of cinema, film festivals and cultural exchange between two countries.

AAFT is an International seat of learning and has been rated as the first ten best film schools of the World with six World Records to its credit in cinema and media studies.

Sandeep Marwah Honored With Raj Kapoor Award

New Delhi: The 3rd edition of grand musical evening was planned on the death anniversary of   late film actor and director Raj Kapoor under the title Do Jism Ek Jaan by Malhaar Sangeet Kala Kendra and Raj Kapoor Legend Group at India Islamic Centre, New Delhi inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.

Renowned film and television personality Sandeep Marwah was honored with Raj Kapoor Award by the organizers for his untiring contribution to cinema in this part of the World.

“ What Sandeep Marwah has done for cinema no one has done that. His contribution will be remembered for all time to come. He has given not only film city Noida but 12000 cinema force to the nation,” said Dr. Rameshwar Kumar while inviting Marwah on the stage to light the ceremonial lamp.

The award was jointly presented to Marwah by Parminder Chadha, Sanjay Malik, Amarjeet Singh Kohli, Amit Agarwal in the presence of jam packed house by music lovers.
