Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid Presented With Patronship of IMFCF

Noida: The High Commission of Malaysia to India and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, to promote relations through art and culture, jointly launched an organization under the name and banner of IMFCF- Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum on the first day of 2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2018 at Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah presented the first Patronship of the association to H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India in a grand function at Marwah Studios in the presence of professionals from the films, television, media and fashion fraternity.

Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid joined the Malaysian Public Service in 1992. He was the Ambassador of Malaysia to Kazakhstan since 2014 prior to his appointment as High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

 He was previously the Deputy Director at the South East Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT) from 2011 to 2014, Consul General of Malaysia in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 2007 to 2011 and Counsellor at the High Commission of Malaysia in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei from 2005 to 2007.

 Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid had also served as First Secretary at the Embassy of Malaysia in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1999 to 2003 and as Second Secretary at the High Commission of Malaysia in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 1996 to 1999.

2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Formally Inaugurated at Film City

Noida: 2nd Global Fashion Week Noida 2018 inaugurated with great pomp and show by people of National and international importance in the presence of large number of delegates from all over India and different countries of the World.

“There is need to bring the talent of this country to higher level. The talent must work for the nation and not only work abroad. We are promoting all kind of designers be a fashion, furniture, jewelry or interior. AAFT School of Fashion and Design leaving no stone unturned to provide education at international level,” said Sandeep Marwah on the inaugural session on the first day of 2nd Global Fashion Week Noida 2018.

High Commissioner of Malaysia H.E Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid, Ambassador of Gambia H.E Jainaba Jagne, renowned beauty queen Shahnaz Husain, former, Miss Universe Teen Srishti Kaur , Mrs India Finalist 2015 Deepti Chibber and Interior Designer Shailender Sharma jointly inaugurated the fashion and design week by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“Fashion is beauty of mind, soul and body. Use those things, which will enhance your internal beauty,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Fashion Design Week.

“There is a huge advancement in the science and there is no harm in using the soft and appropriate techniques to enhance fashion in our own life be it clothing, beauty, and looks, be it your internal self,” said Padma Shri Shahnaz Hussain known for her beauty products with 400 centres around the World.

“This is the first time we are participating in fashion week, next time I would love to have team from my country to be part of the ramp. The launching of Indo Malaysian Cultural Forum today, is the beginning of many activities together,” said H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India nominating Sandeep Marwah as Chair to the forum.

“It is a powerful occasion to launch Indo Gambia Cultural Forum. This is a major event for us. From here we will create more buzz of our relationship,” added H.E. Jainaba Jagne Ambassador of Gambia to India while nominating Marwah as chair for the forum.

“I am back to my Alma Matter. The love and respect, which I have received, has added to my international reputation. Good education and hard work always pay in life,” said Srishti Kaur AAFT Alumna and former Miss Universe Teen.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid with Patron ship of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum and H.E. Jainaba Jagne with the Patron ship of Indo Gambia Film And Cultural Forum. A life membership of International Film And Television Research Centre was presented to Srishti Kaur former Miss Universe Teen. The memento of the festival was handed over to the entire guests.

A brochure containing information of passing out students of AAFT School of Fashion And Design was released from the same stage. The exhibition of furniture was opened immediately after the formal inauguration. Director Festival Ritu Lal paid vote of thanks.

2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida Started With New Energy

Noida: The 2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2018 today started its national and international activities with full new energy to create a wonderful position for the festival in international market.

Last week festival started with the curtain raiser when 54 delegates from 24 countries of the World participated in Global Summit on ‘Skill Development in Fashion And Design Industry’ in association with Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development And Entrepreneurship.

“We are different from other fashion weeks as we have added a very important segment of Design to the fashion week. Design is a wider term and it includes garments, furniture, jewelry, interior designing, cars, buildings etc. and has become now part of every industry on this earth,” introduced Sandeep Marwah President of 2nd GFDW-2018.

President PHD Chamber of Commerce And Industry Anil Khaitan along with former Haryana Minister Krishna Murti Hudda, International Marketing Manager at The Handicrafts and Handlooms Exports corporation of India Limited K.C.Shakdwepee, Jwelery Designer Abhishek Tiwari, Film personality Pradeep Kukerja, a renowned acchitect Aashish Sharma, Mrs IndiaUniverse-Style Icon Babita Choudhury inaugurated the first Session.

Every one expressed their definition of fashion and design and shared their experience of the industry.Later Sandeep Marwah presented al the delegates with memento of 2ndGFDWN 2018 and Ritu Lal paid vote of thanks. The formal function followed by a grand fashion show by the students of AAFT School of Fashion And Design.

The 3 day fashion and design week showcased Painting, furniture and jewelry exhibitions. There were workshops, seminars, interactions, screening of films, fashion shows and entertainment programs. The delegates from all over India and abroad have registered them for the shows. 160 designers participated with around 700 dresses presented in 9 major shows in 63 segments.

The festival director Ritu Lal said, ”We are very keen in developing and promoting young talent of this country. Many new designers have taken keen interest in the show”. ICMEI Announced Study Tour to Malaysia

Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AITH- Asian Institute of Tourism And Hospitality announced a study tour to Kuala Lumpur the capital of Malaysia for the members of ICMEI.

“A study tour of 30 people comprising of professional media persons and media students has been planned for four days at the most reasonable price so that maximum people can take the benefit of this gesture extended by   NAI- News Paper Association of India,” said Vipin Gaur Secretary General of NAI.

On this occasion Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI, Pankaj K Singh IRS Commissioner Taxes Noida, Gurang from Tourism Industry and Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI launched the poster at Marwah Studios.

“We are trying to promote our relations with Malaysia under Indo Malaysia Film And Cultural Forum. I am sure this tour will bring some new results in our friendship,” said Sandeep Marwah.

Marwah Films And Video Production Announces Web Series

Noida: Marwah Films And Video Production announced a web series to be launched at the beginning of May this year where the alumni of AAFT will participate in both on screen and in production too.

“We have designed a web series keeping in mind the in house talent of AAFT and ASMS on screen and for the production team too. The details are being worked out and all these productions will be made in Noida,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of the Asian Education Group.

Speaking on the occasion alumnus Amit Agarwal offered opportunity to the current students to join him after the course for his web series, which he has started, and projecting the same in Cannes International Film Festival. He was accompanied with his cast Aarti Rawat, Shipra Kasana and another alumnus of ASMS Harshvardhan Saran.

“We have already prepared the first show, and I shall be taking care of the project which will start its audition from April end,” added Ashok Tyagi director of the series.

Sandeep Marwah Speaker at Ghana Summit

New Delhi: A summit to talk about Indo Ghana relations was organized by High Commission of Ghana in India at Hotel Shangrila, New Delhi where The President of ICMEI Sandeep Marwah was the special guest.

“We are thankful to the High Commission of Ghana to India H.E. Michael Aaron Nii Nortey Oquaye for nominating me as the Chairperson of Indo Ghana Film And Cultural Forum. We have already started developing and promoting relations between two countries,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

ICMEI Honored Parliamentarians With Fame India Awards

New Delhi: International Chamber of Media and Entertainment, in association with Fame India Magazine & AAFT, honored twenty five popular parliamentarians with newly constituted National level award under the name of Fame India Award for their successful tenure and representation in parliament.

The report was prepared by the Asia Post agency under the leadership of Rajiv Mishra keeping in mind twenty top points of research. On the basis of final results delivered by the agency, awards were presented in a grand function at India’s most prestigious auditorium of Vigyan Bhawan.

Sandeep Marwah Honored by Serbian Research Centre

New Delhi: On 8th April, the International Day of Roma Sandeep Marwah was honored for his contribution to the Roma studies in a grand function at   International Research Centre at Rohni.

The Centre of Roma Studies organized a colorful event where Sandeep Marwah the President of Marwah Studios and Asian Education Group was honored. His contribution to Roma studies has already brought him a Doctorate last year from International Roma Cultural University, Belgrade, Serbia.

Sandeep Marwah, through his international organizations, has developed and promoted relations with most of the major 30 countries where Roma people have settled down 1000 years back. The countries include Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovak, Egypt, Spain, Mexico, USA, Canada France, Italy, Russia, Cyprus, Turkey, Israel, etc.

The certificate issued by Institute for the Roma Studies of Europe and Research Regarding The Crimes Against Humanity and International Law, Belgrade and was presented by President of the institute Dr. Bajram Haliti and Deputy Chairman of the institute Dr. Richa Singh along with renowned media person from Serbia Zalotomir Jovanovic.

New Delhi: The management and organization of Narayani Sahitya Academy honored Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios with a prestigious award for his untiring contribution to the promotion of literature.

Sandeep Marwah has been in education for more than 25 years and literature has been always a part of all the courses running in the campus. He has promoted special cell for the publication of books, journals, newsletters etc. to give emphasis on writing. A popular national weekly has been also a part of the group.
