ICMEI Will Create A Separate African Cultural Union

Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Marwah Studios in association with AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television has already created numerous forums in relation to African Countries.

“ Time has come when we should have a an African Union as a part of ICMEI so that more regularly we can work with Africa as a continent. Very soon we will be launching ‘An African Union’,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios addressing the nationals of different countries from Africa.

ICMEI is already dealing with Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria, Niger, Ethiopia, South Africa, Gabon, Lesotho, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Malawi, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, South Sudan, Libya, Tunisia, Senegal, Guiana, Ghana, Congo, Cameron, Djibouti, Somalia, Tanzania, Burkina Faso and others.

“It was a great pleasure to receive the delegates from different countries of Africa in different Global Festivals and Summits organized by Marwah Studios and AAFT in partnership with ICMEI in the recent past,” added Sandeep Marwah chairing numerous international cultural forums.

Sandeep Marwah Addressed ASSOCHAM on Entertainment Industry

New Delhi: A well known media personality and President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah was invited by the ASSOCHAM to deliver the key note address on media and entertainment industry at their annual program on “changing Pattern of Services Industry-Opportunities And Challenges” at Hotel Taj Mansingh.

Talking to the audience Sandeep Marwah briefed about the media and entertainment industry and said that we are the biggest film industry in the World and produces nearly 2000 full-length feature films in 28 languages. 12000 theatres and approximately 15 million people watch cinema every year. We sell 5 billion tickets every year and films are touching now a turnover of 15000 crores.

He also talked about print, radio, television, new media, events and media education in India. The session was followed by question answer, which lasted for quite some time.

Sandeep Jajodia President ASSOCHAM welcomed Sandeep Marwah and Ajay Sharma Senior Director ASSOCHAM paid vote of thanks. Later a journal on Service Industry was released by Marwah.

ART And Culture Committee of PHDCCI Met Minister

New Delhi: The members of Art and Cultural Committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce under the Chairmanship of Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios met the Union Minister for Culture and Environment Dr. Mahesh Sharma at Ministry.

“There is a urgent need for developing art and culture infrastructure to fuel growth and develop India as a ‘soft power,” said Dr. Mahesh Sharma Union Minister of State Ministry of Culture and Environment. He said that the “Government of India’s initiative for cultural mapping of India would bring art and culture repositories on a common platform through an e-portal, thus promoting India”s visual arts. About 1 crore people are already registered on the portal and we expect 4 crore artists to register themselves”.

“We are keen in inviting the Minister to present the newly constituted appreciation awards by PHDCCI to encourage and motivate the artists who have done well in these recent years. We are also looking for guidance as how we can support the Government in their day to day affairs,” said Sandeep Marwah talking to the press.

“It is also a wonderful opportunity to discuss with the minister on the forth-coming conference on environment. We believe in presenting only plant,” said Anil Khaitan President of PHDCCI. Saurabh Sanyal Secretary General and Bhawana Singh Joint Secretary PHD were also present there.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Guru Pranam Utsav

New Delhi: Three days Guru Pranam Ustav of art and culture to promote Odissi dance and music designed by Jyoti Srivastava of Vaishali Kala Kendra was inaugurated by well-known art promoter of the country Sandeep Marwah at Azad Bhawan of ICCR in association with Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.

“Some one who has no interest in art and culture can not be a complete human being. The involvements with arts make you a spiritual person. It uplifts mind, body and soul,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios while inaugurating and lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The event has covered solo and group dances, vocal light and classical music, exhibition of paintings and photographs. The main attraction of the festival was the performance by Padamshri Datuk Ramli Ibrahim.

Sandeep Marwah Honored With Bihar Gaurav Samman

New Delhi: International Public Broadcasting Forum, International Film And Television Club, International Film And Television Research Centre, International Children’s Film Forum, International Women Film Forum and many other organizations where Sandeep Marwah has been chair for, all these organizations are working for the promotion of Education, Art and Culture and have supported residents of Bihar at one or other time.

Recently Sandeep Marwah was honored by Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla Union Minister of State, Ministry for Finance, Government of India for running most cost effective film school in the World. INFCF President Met Prime Minister of Nepal

New Delhi: A well known media celebrity and Chair of Indo Nepal Film And Cultural Forum Sandeep Marwah met the Prime Minister of Nepal H.E. K.P. Sharma Oli on his official visit to India at Hotel Imperial at New Delhi.

“We have created Indo Nepal Film And Cultural Forum two years back when the Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli was in Delhi. The Prime Minister of Nepal K.P.Singh Oli was presented with the first Patron ship of the Forum,” informed Marwah to the press.

That was the time when he signed a charter and memorandum with Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi of Republic of India which also included a clause of cultural exchange,” said Sandeep Marwah also president of Marwah Studios.

After the formation of forum, the first ever film festival of Nepali Films in 70 years of Independence, was organized by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television and INFCF.

Sandeep Marwah Honored by Ministry of Textile at Varanasi

Varanasi: Legendary educationist and founder of Noida film city Sandeep Marwah was honored with Confluence –Aavaran Award by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India at a grand function at Deen Dayal Hastkala Sankul at Badalpur Lamhi, Varanasi for promoting different kinds of art and culture of India.

“It all started with exporting handicrafts to Europe, followed by manufacturing and export of Indian carpets and durries be from Kashmir, Agra, Gwalior, Bhadhoi, Mirzapur, Amritsar and Jaipur. Now I am promoting again handicrafts and textiles through my AAFT School of Fashion And Design,” informed Sandeep Marwah receiving award from the Ministry.

Noida: A team of representatives of one of the most popular spiritual organization Brahma Kumaris based in Mount Abu decided to join hands with AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television to promote art and Culture of India.

AAFT and the High Commission of Canada celebrate National Canadian Film Day 2018

April.2018, Noida: To mark the fifth annual National Canadian Film Day (NCFD 2018), the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT), hosted a special screening of the film ‘The Sun at Midnight’ for students in their Noida campus today. Celebrated every year on April 18, this is the first time that the National Canadian Film Day has been celebrated in India.

Organized in partnership with the High Commission of Canada in India, the spotlight for NCFD 2018 is on Canadian Indigenous cinema and women filmmakers. This theme is a reflection of the Government of Canada’s focus on promoting women’s rights and diversity and inclusion.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Soyoung Park, the Deputy High Commissioner for Canada to India said, “I am very happy to be here today as we celebrate National Canadian Film Day. We are pleased to hold this special screening at AAFT. It is a great opportunity to promote Canadian cinema and Canadian values around gender equality and inclusion.”

“We extend our greetings to Ms Soyoung and Canadian High Commission for the confidence extended toward us. We will work together and support Canadian High Commission for their motive of Promoting Women’s Rights. International Women’s Film Forum will join us to be part of our activities,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

The Sun at Midnight, directed by a brilliant woman director, Kirsten Carthew, is set in the Canadian Arctic. The film tells the story of an unexpected friendship between a First Nations hunter and a teenage rebel.
