Joshua Lincoln Addressed students of Asian Business School

Noida:  Joshua Lincoln the descendant of Abraham Lincoln  from Boston USA is a Senior Fellow (non-residential) at the Centre for International Law and Governance at Fletcher, the Graduate School of Global Affairs, Tufts University visited Asian Education Group in Noida to deliver address on current issues in the World.

Between 2013 and 2019, Dr. Lincoln served as Secretary-General of the Bahá’í International Community.  In that role he represented the international governing council of the Bahá’í community in its external affairs; managed relations with governments, municipalities, universities and civil society; and developed multi-year programs and partnerships.

Between 2000 and 2013, he worked on global peace and security issues at the United Nations, including postings as Directeur de Cabinet to the Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva and as Senior Officer in the Executive Office of Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in New York.  He also worked in mediation and preventive diplomacy with the UN Cameroon-Nigeria Mixed Commission and in UN peacekeeping and peacemaking field missions in Ethiopia/Eritrea and North/South Sudan.

Earlier, as an academic/policy researcher, he carried out projects for several universities and think tanks and the World Bank.  He holds a BSFS from Georgetown University in International Politics, and both a MALD and a PhD in International Relations from Tufts University.  He speaks fluent French and basic Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honoured Joshua with the memento and  membership of International Business and Management Research Centre of Asian Education Group. The event was designed by Kazem Samandari and supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry & Indo American Film and Cultural Forum.

Class by Vrinda Sood at AAFT School of Animation

Noida: “India’s animation and VFX industry was valued at around 83 billion Indian rupees in 2021, despite the lapse in market value in the previous year owed to the pandemic’s adverse effects. Estimates for 2024 indicate a growth rate of 29 percent with the industry’s value amounting to180 billion Indian rupees,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry addressing the students of AAFT School of Animation.

We need to look more at original stories and content rather than just being an outsourcing hub. For this to happen, media, corporate houses and Government need to invest a good amount of money in Indian Animation Industry.  With the current Government and the announcement of a National Centre for Excellence in Animation by FM in the Budget, it definitely looks promising,” said Vrinda Sood founder and CEO of Citrus in a workshop conducted at AAFT.

“India has the world’s second-largest entertainment market, the Indian animation and visual effects industry has the potential to grab 20 to 25% of the worldwide AVGC market added Vrinda Soon answering questions by the animation students. Later Sandeep Marwah honoured Vrind with lifec membership of International Film and Television Club of AAFT. The workshop was designed by Ashish Garg Director AAFT School of Animation.

Sandeep Marwah Nominated Patron to DNMCI

Goa: The Digital News & Media Council of India- DNMCI nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios as the Chief Patron to the Council on his visit to Goa informed Dr. Nixon Thottan Secretary General of DNMCI.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah recipient of Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation Award is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, Asian Academy of Film and Television and more than hundred film, television & media organizations. He is the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and National Chairman for Media & Entertainment Committee of Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.

He is the founder of International Film and Television Club, International Film and Television Research Centre, Radio Noida 107.4Fm and MSTV. He has been on the board of All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The Council will bring all the setups of India in Digital Media together and will look after their interest in the country. The council has 28 different offices state wise to administer better and give personal services to the stake holders.

AAFT Signed MOU with American Company for Promotion of Film Activities

Noida: Asian Academy of Film and Television has recently signed a MOU with Cistula Tulipp Group- the Entertainment Felicitators around the World from United States of America to promote film activities in India and America.

“I have been to AAFT & Marwah Studios many times and always been impressed by the quality and quantity of work projected by Sandeep Marwah through his large organizations dealing in different creative works. I also faced many instances where I have come across very talented film makers, turns out to be the product of AAFT. I admire the bubbling energy of the campus every time you visit here,” said Mike Berry while signing the MOU at Noida Film City.

“We are lucky to have Mike Berry on the board. His cooperation and coordination with American Film Industry cannot be ignored. We thank him for selecting our students for internship for American Film Companies,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking him for his visit.

Needless to say that AAFT and Marwah Studios      have a lot to do with USA. Sandeep Marwah also chairing Indo America Film and Cultural Forum and associated with Indo American Chamber of Commerce.

Lord Rami Ranger on the Board of Asian Education Group

Noida: I am surprised by the energy Asian Education Group is spreading through quality education under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah a well known international media person. India needs world class education. The young Indians need to be guided to the best by institutions like Asian Business School, Asian School of Business and Asian Law College,” said Lord Rami Ranger of House of Lords British Parliament at  Asian Education Group during his visit to India.

Lord Rami Ranger is a founding member of the Hindu Forum of Britain, and Chairman of the Pakistan, India & UK Friendship Forum, and the British Sikh Association. His company, Sun Mark Ltd, is the only company in the UK to have awarded 5 consecutive Queens Awards for the enterprise.

He is also the Patron of the Punjabi Society of British Isles, Combat Stress and Fellow of the Prince’s Trust. As a key supporter of youth and skills development, Rami is a member of the government’s Apprenticeship Delivery Board and an Ambassador for the Food and Drinks Industry in the development of apprenticeships and job creation throughout the UK.

In 2005 he was made a Member of the British Empire and in 2016 the Commander of British Empire for his services to British Business and the Asian Community.

15th Global Film Festival Noida 2022 Grown Big

Noida: “With time Global Film Festival has grown big in size as well as its popularity. The 15th Global Film Festival Noida 2022 is going to touch large number of countries, the participation has crossed our own expectations,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and International Film and Television Club while talking to the organizing team at Noida Film City.

The festival will have Foreign Films Segment, Focus Country, films on disability, children’s film, competition films, and short digital films. There will be large number of seminars, workshops, exhibitions, entertainment programs and award function.

We are sure there will be large audience from all over India and abroad. Nearly 500 media houses have promised us to cover the event on all the three days. Film Stars, Ambassadors and Diplomats, people from film, art & culture fraternity, film lovers and film students  will also participate during these three days. the event is supported by Asian Unity Alliance, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and World Peace Development & Research Foundation.

Seminar on Standards of India at Asian Business School

Noida: Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the National Standard Body of India. BIS is responsible for the harmonious development of the activities of standardization, marking and quality certification of goods and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Business School & National Chairman Media & Entertainment Committee BIS Ministry of Consumer Affairs Food and Public Distribution.

BIS Certification is a means for providing third party guarantee of quality, safety and reliability of products to the customer. BIS Certification is voluntary in nature; however, the Government of India has made BIS certification mandatory for certain products taking into consideration public health added Sandeep Marwah.

Great Gala Dinner for Irish Film Festival of India

New Delhi: On the successful completion of first Irish Film Festival of India a great gala dinner was organised by the Embassy of Ireland in India hosted by H.E. Brendan Ward Ambassador of Ireland to India to bring more colours to the extravaganza.

We have done it, many people may be still just thinking of organising a festival of films from Ireland, we have already created another IFFI for Delhi. Four films, seminars, and now a wonderful get-together has given a complete look to the new born festival,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Indo Ireland Film and Cultural Forum.

Large number of film makers including Siraj Zaidi from Ireland, Actor & Writer Atul Tiwari from Mumbai, Actor & Producer Nilesh Malhotra from Mumbai, Actor Megna Malik from Mumbai, Ambassadors and High Commissioners, Diplomats including Deputy Head of Embassy of Cyprus, Ambassador of Argentina, Deputy Head of Embassy of Sweden, Deputy Head from Embassy of Crocia were also present there.

Seminar on Second Day of IFFI Brought New Ideas on Table

Noida: The second day of IFFI- Irish Film Festival of India saw the deep discussions on different subjects related to creative arts including the respective films shown during the festival and history of Irish Film Industry by the dignities present on the occasion.

We are pleased to sanction a radio program on Radio Noida, and another program on MSTV on monthly basis for full one year which will not only highlight but will also promote relations between the two countries India & Ireland. We are also starting the preparation for the next edition of Irish Film Festival of India,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

The Irish film industry has grown somewhat in recent years thanks partly to the promotion of the sector by Screen Ireland and the introduction of heavy tax breaks. According to the Irish Audio-visual Content Production Sector Review carried out by the Irish Film Board and PricewaterhouseCoopers, this sector, has gone from 1,000 people employed six or seven years ago, to well over 8,000 people in that sector now. Most films are produced in English  as Ireland is largely Anglophone, though some productions are made in Irish either wholly or partially informed Siraj Zaidi Producer, Director Actor from Ireland.

Some of the most successful Irish films include The Wind That Shakes The Barley (2006), Intermission  (2003), Man About Dog  (2004), Michael Collins (1996),Angela’s Ashes  (1999), The Commitments (1991), Once  (2007) and Notorius  (2017). Mrs Brown’s Boy D’ Movie  (2014) holds the record for the biggest gross on the opening day of an Irish film in Ireland. Notorious (2017) on the other hand holds the record for highest grossing Irish documentary of all time.

115th Batch of AAFT Inaugurated at Marwah Studios
