It is faster than any injection,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts at the book release titled “Prakiriti aur Bhavnai” (Nature and Emotions) written by Jasbir Kaur at Hindi Bhawan.

Thanking Amit Kaur Puri for inviting him to function he said,” Books are the ready source of knowledge. Once should take an opportunity to go through even the few pages of any book of your liking, in a day, to enhance your knowledge. The compartment of learning in your head should always be open,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios Noida Film City.

Expressing about his love for Literature he informed the house about the Global Literature Festival Noida which has emerged as one of the biggest literature festivals of the country. Later Amit Kaur Puri and Jasbir Puri honored Dr. Marwah with memento and presented him few books for his collection.

Vipul Maheshwari is a renowned and distinguished Advocate of the Supreme     Court of India and a former Additional Advocate General & Senior Standing Counsel of Central Government, Author with the deep understanding of Indian Ethos. He is also member of the advisory committee of Asian Law College.

Anil Maheshwari is a septuagenarian and has served about five decades in journalism and superannuated from  the Hindustan Times as a special correspondent. He has twice been a short term fellow in Aligarh Muslim University and contributed to magazine The Frontier.

Sandeep Marwah Appreciated for his International Collaborations with Belarus

New Delhi: Sandeep Marwah does not need any introduction; he is an internationally renowned media person. He is founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, AAFT University and chairing large number of National and International organizations in private and government sector. His contribution in building international relations with India cannot be expressed in words,” said Rishab Malhotra Vice Chair of Inventivepreneur Chamber of Commerce and Industries introducing him to the high-powered delegation from Republic of Belarus to India during their visit to Pragati Maidan.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah is also the Chair for Indo Belarus Film and Cultural Forum and working along with Embassy of Belarus in India to promote relations between the two countries. Recently a festival of Films from Belarus was also conducted at Marwah Studios.

Mushaira on Love Peace and Unity Through Literature

Noida: To spread the word of Love Peace and Unity -the theme of the festival, a Mushaira was performed during the  8th Global Literary Festival Noida by renowned poets  at Marwah Studios which was well attended by the delegates from all over India.

The session started with the release of  book titled “Tera Aksh” written by Rahul Rai Gupta which is a compilation of his incomplete thoughts about love and pain. Lakshmi Shankar Bajpai, the former Director General of All India Radio spoke about  his contribution in “Tera Aksh” and shared his experiences in the field of radio.

During the event, Sapna Ahsaas through her poetry talked about being positive and added “helping others can bring people closer and  can build stronger relationships”. Mala Kapoor  said, ”blessings of teachers & elders is the energy to move towards your destination,”  She expressed her emotions about life and instances through ghazals and shayari.

Akhtar Azmi captured nostalgic instances through his poetry. His shayari put light on

the importance of memories that one needs to cherish.  Urvashi Agarwal Urvi presented the shayari and talked about the fact that despite diversified cultures and traditions, our country stands one and is united for over decades. Surender Shazar, Moin Shadaab, ,Vigyan Vrat, Renu Hussain, Nanparvi, Shahid Anjum, participated in the event and presented beautiful shayari mesmerizing the audience.

The vote of thanks was proposed by the Festival Director Sushil Bharti. The moderators of the event were  Urvashi Agarwal ’Urvi’ and Mala Kapoor. Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios gave his closing remarks and also recite poetry related to the theme. Later Marwah presented festival memento to all the poets.

8th Global Literary Festival Presented Fashion Show

Noida: The second day of the 8th Global Literary Festival Noida concluded with a beautiful fashion show put up by the students of the School of Fashion and Design. The show began with a motivational speech by Festival Director Dr. Sandeep Marwah who encouraged the students and congratulated them for carrying out the second day so well.

On this occasion, Actress  Raviraa Bhardwaj appreciated the festival by calling it one of the biggest space in India to showcase the art and creativity, followed by HE Dr Roger Gopaul , High Commissioner, Ambassador of Republic of Trinidad and Tobago who narrated his journey of coming to India and the strong bond shared between the two nations.

During the show, National President of Public Relation Society of India, Dr. Ajit Pathak dedicated a beautiful poem to Fashion and Literature together. Then, President of Dancing Rabbit from Germany Mark Fazzy expressed his gratitude and congratulated the students for a wonderful show. Gurbani Bhatia, a musician who shared her past experience of performing on the stage of Marwah Studios. The event was attended by  actor & model Richa Kapoor,

Vice Chancellor of Noida International University Prof Dr. Uma Bhardwaj,  Jimmy from Embassy of Turkey,  Pasch from United Kingdom also spoke on the occasion. During the event, a book on fashion titled “Hook” was launched. The spectacle of fashion was on full display during the Fashion Show. The first set of walk with the theme “Unity in Diversity” showcased the mix Indian culture wedding attires. Second set was based on “Western” theme which mainly included the wedding gowns. The designers of the first two sets were – Saba, Jasmeher, Shelly Agarwal, Rupin Jha, Priyanshu Tyagi and Gunjan Mishra. The third set was based on the “Casual Hip Hop Streetwear” which included the handsome hunks in streetwear. The last set presented the beautiful relation of Lord Krishna and Radha which included traditional Indian wear and showcased simplicity, elegance, purity and innocence. The designers for the last two sets were – Priyanshu Tyagi, Ishita Jain, Junaid, Paridhi, Pavnish and Ayush Gupta.

On this occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented the mementos to the esteemed guests and thanked them for joining in for the event. The show was anchored by Mr. Syed Ashar and Ms. Paridhi. It was concluded with Vote of Thanks by Director of School of Fashion Design Prof. Ritu Lal. 5th Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award Presented by Asian Academy of Arts

Noida: The felicitation ceremony of “5th Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award for promotion of Art and Culture” was conducted by Asian Academy of Arts on the final day of the 8th Global Literary Festival Noida in a grand function at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

The event began with the festival president’s address. Dr. Sandeep Marwah announced that,” this is the first award to be coined after Late Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The art and culture has never bothered to divide the society on the basis of caste, creed or religion, but have believed in only growth and entertainment,”. He motivated the people to have big dreams, huge goals and most importantly a great determination.

Dr. Neeraj A Sharma, Honorary Consul General The Republic of Palau extended his wishes and claimed the awardees to be assets to the country who contributed in society’s development by their work. He appreciated the efforts of ICMEI for creating Indo Palau Film and Cultural Forum to develop and promote relations between the two countries India & Palau.

Dr. Sergey Dvorianov, President International Diplomatic Club- Amicability of Russia, appreciated the Indian scriptures as he said,” No author can be compared to the writings of Ved Vyas’s Mahabharata and Valmiki’s Ramayana. We all must unite the inner and outer beauty to support humanity together. Indo Russia Film and Culture Forum is a wonderful initiative by ICMEI,” he emphasised.

Dr. Vinayshil Gautam author and academician stated, “sahitya ki atma hai apna anubhav”, teaching the students that every person has their own share of experiences in life. He said that the literary fest was an initiative which kept the soul of the society ignited.

On this occasion, Dr. Ram Sharan Gaur former Secretary Delhi Hindi Academy & President Delhi Public Library and Asha Shaily renowned author were honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award of 8th Global Literary FestivalConstituted by Asian Academy of Arts.

During the ceremony, Theatre Artist Satish Anand, Poet B L Gaur, Poet Laxmi Shankar Bajpai, Founder Sangam Kala Group V.S.K. Sood, Kathak Exponent Anu Sinha, Imaginary Realism Painter Raghu Vyas, Sitar Maestro Pt. Sufi Night Closing Event of 8th Global Literary Festival

Noida: The Final day of the 8th Global Literary Festival Noida 2022, concluded with a mesmerizing Sufi Night by the well-known Yousuf Khan Nizami’s Group.

The program began with the motivational address of the Festival President followed by the guests Dr. Mridula Tondon a well-known art promoter and Dr. Rishi Raj Singh Director General All India MSMES Federation. The musical night started with the popular song “Mere Rashke Qamar” of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and concluded with “Damadam Mast Kalandar” of Sami Yusuf, creating a magical spell, leaving the audience mesmerized.

The whole auditorium was echoing with just two words and they were “Once More – Once More”. The group appreciated the audience support and called it one of the best audiences they’ve ever performed for. The delegates from all over India danced to the tunes of the songs and called it the best event to cherish throughout their lifetime.

“The three day literary event has come to an end. But it is the beginning of preparation of 9th   Global Literary Festival Noida 2023. Indo Cambodia Culture Forum Will Promote Tourism of Cambodia

New Delhi: “It was a pleasant meeting with H.E. Ung Sean Ambassador of Cambodia to India at the Embassy of Cambodia New Delhi when I was invited by the Ambassador to discuss the new activities of Indo Cambodia Film and Cultural Forum,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and Chair for Indo Cambodia Film and Cultural Forum.

“It was decided to have a road show highlighting Cambodia as   the tourist destination for Indians and propagating film locations of the Kingdom of Cambodia for the film makers of Indian Film Industry,” added Marwah also President of Marwah Studios.

“We are ready to cooperate our best and shall pass on our films on tourism to make event more colorful. Our country The Kingdom of Cambodia is the country with the largest religious monument in the world, delectable cuisine, rich culture, and vast history,” said H.E. Ung Sean Ambassador of Cambodia to India.

The popular AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism will design the program in association with ICMEI and will invite people from film and tourism fraternity. A date will be announced in a short period of time.

Sandeep Marwah Presented Awards at Culinary Competition by COWE

Noida: There’s cooking, and then there’s cooking with passion, creativity, and love. I firmly believe that the energy you put into a recipe is just as important as the ingredients you use. A recipe has no soul. You as the cook must bring soul to the recipe. If you are a chef, no matter how good a chef you are, it’s not good cooking for yourself; the joy is in cooking for others. It’s the same with music,” said Dr Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts at the award function of culinary competition organised by COWE foundation at Indian Culinary Institute.

Speaking on the occasion Gian Bhushan Additional Secretary Ministry of Tourism Government of India said,” Cooking is like painting or writing a song. Just as there are only so many notes or colours, there are only so many flavours—it’s how you combine them that sets you apart. Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes, and cooking. It’s about harnessing imagination, empowerment, and creativity”.

 Dr. R K Bharti, Joint Director HOO, MSME-DI,  shares insights on Schemes and incentives for MSMEs from the Government at the event. He said, ”Cooking requires confident guesswork and improvisation—experimentation and substitution, dealing with failure and uncertainty in a creative way”.

 AAFT school of Hospitality & Tourism participated in culinary competition ” Dawat e Khaas”  along with other schools, which was Judged by Celebrity Chef Nishant Choubey, Chef Pawan Soni and Chef Jayanandan Bhaskar. Students presented dishes of different cuisines of all across the globe. AAFT students won the highest number of awards in different categories.

“I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to organisers for providing the students such wonderful opportunities wherein students can interact with industry experts which will eventually helped the students for building & boosting up their confidence and bringing out their ingenuity,” added Pawan Singh of AAFT.
