First Board Meeting Of 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012 At Marwah
The first board meeting of 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012 took place at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City to discuss the final preparation of an international event which has already created a place for itself under the leadership of renowned media person Sandeep Marwah who is also the President of International Film And Television Club.
The meeting was attended by all the representative of different organizations associated with the Global Film Festival from very beginning including AAFT, ASMS, ABS, ASC, ASGA, ASPA, IFTC, IFTRC, WPDRF, ICFF, IPBF, PJNF, AAA, SS and Marwah Studios, Marwah Film & Video Production, Asian Film Library, SRML, etc.
It was resolved that the 5th Global Film Festival will take place on 5th, 6th and 7th of November 2012 at Noida Film City. Since all festivals of the World have created brand because of the fixed location like Cannes Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, Tokyo Film Festival, London Film Festival, New York Film Festival, Montreal Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival, Vancouver Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival etc.
75th AAFT Festival of Short Films Inaugurated With New Records
“A huge and rigorous labour and a patience has brought us today to a platform where we all are now part of the history of celebrating & creating World Record of having 75th AAFT festival of Short Digital films during the year when we are also enthusiastic about completing 100 years of Indian Cinema” Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios introduced festival to large gathering of people from all over India and abroad.
“It is par excellence to do so much of work in entertainment field. The purpose will be doubled if films are made to serve the society too. The biggest source of communication must be utilized to motivate the audience of the country to come forward to help downtrodden” said Dr. Balram Jakhar the former Speaker of Lok Sabha and Governor of Madya Pradesh while inaugurating the festival.
Lipika Sud Social Worker, W.M. Rizvi Chief Director of National Cooperative Development Corporation, Dr. Beni Prasad Agarwal Former Ambassador to Greece & Bulgaria, Nasreen Hamid Chairperson Global Women’s Lib were also present on the occasion.
The festival was divided into two parts. The first part had films of this year and the second part was the retrospective- collection of best films from last 74 festivals.

World Peace Development and Research Foundation of Asian Society of Film And Television promoted by renowned international media person Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios conducted its first major meeting on the cooperative movement of India. The meeting was chaired by the renowned freedom fighter, former minister of Maharashtra and former Rajya Sabha Member Shivaji Rao Patil.
The WPDRF has already got its recognition from United Nations, International Cooperative Alliance and Government of India for its activities. “Affiliations have already started coming from all over the World as far as World Conference is concerned” informed Sandeep Marwah President WPDRF to all the members of the organization.

International Record with 75th Edition Of Short Films Festival At AAFT
“AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films is the only festival which has touched the 75th edition in the World. This is the only festival which happened four times in a year. The festival has given golden opportunity to 1100 new directors from to show case their debut films in last 19 years of its existence” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Academy Of Film And Television.
“We have never believed in awards and rewards, my purpose is to give our best to the entertainment World. You have to be truthful to your profession, and success comes to you automatically” added Marwah.
The festival has two major segments which include short films for 75th festival and the second segment has Retrospective of AAFT Films which includes some of the finest films from the last 19 years.
The 75 festivals have attracted more than 1500 films in 19 years involving directors, technicians and artist from 90 countries of the World.
The 75th festival will have its repeat show later in different cities of the country as mark of respect to the International record.
Verghese Kurien Remembered At World Peace Foundation Headquarters
“The father of ‘white revolution’ Dr Verghese Kurien, who transformed India from a milk-deficient country to the world’s largest milk producer and the founder of Amul, passed away after a brief illness. WPDRF Establishes Its Office During International Cooperative Year
orld Peace Development and Research Foundation of Asian Society of Film And Television has established its international head quarters at Noida during the International Year Of Cooperative stated Sandeep Marwah President of WPDRF.
The United Nations General Assembly has declared 2012 as the International Year of Cooperatives, highlighting the contribution of cooperatives to socio-economic development, particularly their impact on poverty reduction, employment generation and social integration.
With the theme of “Cooperative Enterprises Build a Better World”, the Year seeks to encourage the growth and establishment of cooperatives all over the world. It also encourages individuals, communities and governments to recognize the agency of cooperatives in helping to achieve internationally agreed upon development goals, such as the Millennium Development Goals.
WPDRF will be organizing an International meet on the theme of cooperative movement on 5th & 6th of December, 2012 at New Delhi.
World Peace Foundation Now Has Its Own Radio Station
World Peace Development And Research Foundation (WPDRF) now has its own Radio Station under the name and banner of Radio Noida 107.4FM controlled by Marwah Studios licensed by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
“I am pleased to sanction all those programs on Radio Noida which covers and supports the progress of the society and humanity” said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation while talking to the radio artists and sound engineers.
Radio Noida is now covering complete Noida, South-Central and East Delhi, Parts of Faridabad and Ghaziabad in total, a population of almost two million people. The station is working for 16 hours a day and planning to be 24 hours very soon.
