Teachers Day Celebrated At Asian Education Group

“The best teacher is the one who suggests rather than dogmatizes,
and inspires his listener with the wish to teach himself” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group on the celebration of Teachers Day at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.
In India 5th September is celebrated as Teaches’ Day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. 5th September is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, and was the well-known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all a Teacher.
“Teachers, I believe, are the most responsible and important members of society because their professional efforts affect the fate of the earth. It is better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher” added Marwah who has been in education for the last twenty years.
Later Sandeep Marwah honored all the teachers of Asian Academy Of Film And Television,Asian School Of Communication, Asian School Of Media Studies, Asian Business School, Asian School of Graphics and Animation and Asian School Of Performing Arts.

ICA Recognizes World Peace Development And Research Foundation

The World Peace Development and Research Foundation (WPDRF) of Asian Society of Film And Television (ASFT) now has been recognized by the International Cooperative Alliance, an international apex body of cooperatives to promote and develop the concept of cooperative societies in the World informed Sandeep Marwah President of the Foundation.
WPDRF has planned two days an international conference on the cooperative movement at New Delhi. A large number of international organizations have sent their consent to be part of this World Congress.
The theme of this World meet is “NEHRU’S CALL : PROMOTING A CULTURE OF CO-OPERATIVE ENTERPRISES VOLUNTEERING A BETTER WORLD at the Venue of NCUI Convention Centre, 3, SIRI Institutional Area, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi.
The International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) is a non-governmental co-operative federation or, more precisely, a co-operative union representing co-operatives and the co-operative movement worldwide. It was founded in 1895. The ICA maintains the internationally recognized definition of a co-operative in the Statement on the Co-operative Identity. ICA represents 248 co-operative federations and organizations in 92 countries.

Platinum Jubilee for AAFT Festival Of Short Digital Films

“AAFT Festival of Short Digital Film is the only festival in the World which has now touched the 75th Edition and happens four times in a year” said Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival. “The festival has given opportunity to more than 1100 Directors to show case their debut films in this festival in last 19 years of its existence” Marwah added.
The festival so far has been attended by young film makers of 90 countries in last 19 years. More than 1500 films have participated in this festival in different editions.
Some of the finest names from Hollywood, Bollywood, politics, Art and Culture have attended different editions of the festival. The International Film And Television club of Marwah Studios is busy in preparing for the celebration in a big way for the 75th edition.

Concept of Asian Union is to be Highlighted-Sandeep Marwah

“Strength and Prosperity lies in Unity. There is an European union, which has changed the face of Europe. If we are able to create an Asian Union, that will change the face of Asia in all fields: economic, social, strategic and finally in the political arena” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and World Peace Development And Research Foundation on the occasion of 12th founders day of Association of Asian Union here at India International Centre, New Delhi.
”In Europe they began with 6 countries; gradually they became 9, then 12 , then 15,then 27 Now more countries are waiting anxiously to join. In Asia, also we can begin with 5 or 6 countries. Others will follow automatically” added Dr. Beni Prasad Agarwal President of the organization and former Ambassador of India.
There will be a new environment of peace with vigor, and tremendous hope of prosperity. Peace and prosperity in Asia will make a remarkable contribution to peace and prosperity in the world.

World Humanitarian Day Celebrated At WPDRF

“There is no stamp of religion nor caste on the baby when he is born to mother, we, with our own wish, decide to divide the human beings into different categories but the reality is that we have one religion and that is humanity” said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development and Research Foundation on the celebration of Humanitarian Day at Marwah Studios.

World Humanitarian Day is a time to recognize those who face danger and adversity in order to help others. The day was designated by the General Assembly to coincide with the anniversary of the 2003 bombing of the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad, Iraq, which killed 22 UN staff.
Every day humanitarian aid workers help millions of people around the world, regardless of who they are and where they are. World Humanitarian Day is a global celebration of people helping people.

India Pakistan Friendship Initiative At ASMS

International Day against Nuclear Test Discussions At WPDRF

United Nations General Assembly declared 29 August the International Day against Nuclear Tests by unanimously adopting resolution .The resolution calls for increasing awareness and education about the effects of nuclear weapon test explosions or any other nuclear explosions and the need for their cessation as one of the means of achieving the goal of a nuclear-weapon-free world.

”The Day is meant to galvanize the United Nations, Member States, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, youth networks and the media to inform, educate and advocate the necessity of banning nuclear weapon tests as a valuable step towards achieving a safer world” said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has stated with great clarity: “A world free of nuclear weapons would be a global public good of the highest order”

100 Years of Cinema Celebrated At PHD With Pomp And Show

Feature film Raja Harish Chandra, Aradhana, Manthan, Lahore and
I Am were screened at PHD house as a tribute to Indian Cinema on the occasion of celebration of 100 years of Cinema for the large number of enthusiastic ordinance on Saturday.
“I pay my salute to all the film makers of the industry who have brought the industry to this height & level from where we can fly to any stage, sky is the limit” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Entertainment and Media committee of PHD Chamber of commerce
The program was inaugurated by the renowned screen writer and director, Dadasaheb Phalke Award Winner Shyam Benegal, all time favorite Sharmila Tagore, National Award winner Actor Farouq Sheikh and this year best film award winner Sanjay Suri. “we are indebted to all the dignities who have added a lot of strength to the program with their presence” stated Sandeep Somany President of PHD.
The screening of five films was followed by the interaction program by the film makers who answered many questions related to their films. “We will have more interactive programs like this in near future” added Sushmita Shekhar Secretary General PHD. “Entertainment and Media Committee is now pretty active at North” affirmed Yogesh Srivastava Secretary of the Committee.

International Organizations Will Support World Peace Development Projects-WPDRF
