Logo Of World Peace Development And Research Foundation Released

The international organization-World Peace Development And Research Foundation to promote the cause of international peace framed its logo close to the traditional and popular peace gesture of flying white dove in the blue sky informed Prof. R. K .Singh Vice president India for WPDRF.
“When my heart is at peace, the world is at peace.” Said Sandeep Marwah while releasing the first poster of the logo of World Peace Development And Research Foundation on the auspicious day of Janamashtmi, the birth day of Lord Krishna.
“If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we, but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work.” added Marwah who has been recently honored with International Media Guru and Ambassador of Peace from prestigious organizations.
WPDRF will operate from Noida-Delhi, its international head quarters and will spread the charm of peace to all over the World through its activities.

10TH EDITION OF WE CARE FILMFEST ANNOUNCED

Brotherhood in association with the National Trust, the United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan (UNIC), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT), the Global Rainbow Foundation and the Rapiscan Systems is organizing tenth edition of We Care Film Festival.
”The We Care Film Festival is an annual international traveling and educational film festival of short films and documentaries on disability issues. It travels to educational institutions and disability organizations aimed at sensitizing and engaging youth in the disability sector nationally and internationally” informed Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.
”The festival is an advocacy tool that seeks to bring about attitudinal and behavioral changes on approaches to disability, promote the inclusion of people with disabilities and rid people of misconceptions, myths and prejudices surrounding disability issues. The festival seeks to promote the rights of persons with disabilities as set out in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD)” stated Satish Kapoor Director of the festival.
In less than a span of nine years, this film festival has become a brand, raising awareness on disability rights issues nationally and internationally.
The Festival’s uniqueness lies in the fact that audiences not only to watch but also rate each short film and documentary which gives an alternate opinion on the quality, content and treatment. An independent jury judges the films on the basis of these ratings.

World Peace Development And Research Foundation Celebrates Friendship Day

“A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words. A friend is one who believes in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself.” said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation on the occasion of Friendship day in general meeting of Asian Education Group at Marwah Studios.
Friendship Day celebrations take place on the first Sunday of August every year. The tradition of dedicating a day in honor of friends began in US in 1935. Gradually the festival gained popularity and today Friendship Day is celebrated in large number of countries including India.

8th ASMS Short Film Festival Fixed For August

The 8th Short Film Festival of Asian School Of Media Studies is now fixed for 13th and 14th of August, 2012 at Marwah Studios Campus to project and highlight the works of students of ASMS.
“The department of Cinema, Multi Media, Mass Communication and Electronic Media will be presenting their films in these two days. The festival will have fictions, documentaries, music videos, advertisements as entries” said Ashok Tyagi Jt. Director ASMS and Festival Director.
The committee consisting of journalist, film makers, educators and socialites will be selecting the final films for screening on the final day. The opening and closing day will be celebrated in the presence of big wigs of Indian Cinema.

World Peace Development And Research Foundation Plans World Conference

WPDRF, World Peace Development And Research Foundation an international body of Asian Society of Film And Television has planned a World conference on the subject of Cooperative movement in the World and especially in India informed Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios and President of WPDRF.
The venue of the International conference will be New Delhi and will be for two days inclusive of two seminars each day. Every seminar will be followed by an Award function. The awards will be finalized by a separate committee consisting of high profiled people from all strata of life.

Marwah Studios Join Hands with International Sufi Film Festival 2012

Marwah Studios which is the birth place of already popular different film festivals in the country including AAFT festival of short digital Films, ASMS Short Film Festival, International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema and Global Film Festival Noida now join hands with International Sufi Film Festival to be held in Ajmer this September.
Large preparations are already on at the holy city of Ajmer for the festival which is going to be the part of 2nd International Sufi Festival India 2012. “We are very happy to join hands with Marwah Studios as they have complete experience of organizing international level film festivals” said Gulsha Begum Chairperson of Divine Abode and festival directorof ISFI.

World Record of Sandeep Marwah Highlighted

Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios Noida was nominated as one of the 900 persons of the country who had the privileged to run with the queen’s Baton during the national relay during xixth Commonwealth Games, Delhi in India. The run was on the central road of Jaipur from Vidhan Sabha to Hawa Mahal.
Sandeep Marwah who is also the President of Asian Education Group created a World Record through Asian School Of Media Studies of clicking 10,000 pictures, 1000 hours of film making, 102 short films and102 Radio programs for daily telecast and broadcasting covering 28 states 5 union territories, 20000 kilo meters 300 events 900 cities/towns in 102 days from Wagah Border to Nehru Stadium.
The three minutes film of Queens Baton movement in India on the opening ceremony of xix Commonwealth Games at Nehru Stadium was also shot and prepared by Marwah Studios.
This World Record has been recorded in the books of Government of India and Sandeep Marwah has been honored with Gold Queens Baton along with citation and certificates.
