Two minute silence was observed to pay respect to the great soul followed by the screening of the film of visit of Rajesh Khanna to Marwah Studios and his speech to the students.

“It was first the Great Film City Of Noida founded by Sandeep Marwah during the year 1988 which has now emerged as fastest growing film city of the World, which has brought a film culture in the Northern part of the country” said Dr. Bhisham Narayan Singh former Governor of Tamil Nadu and Union Minister Government of India.

“Then the presence of Marwah Studios which has been associated with more than hundred feature films attracted units from Mumbai, Madras, Calcutta, Hyderabad the other film cities of the country added to film business” said A.K.Goorah President Award Winner and Alumnus of FTII first Batch.

“The beginning of AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television the first premier film school in private sector added a lot to the making of Delhi as film hub. Sandeep Marwah is the Edwin Lutyens of Delhi Cinema” stated Lt. Gen. K.M.Seth former Governor of Chhattisgarh.

Supporting organizations like International Film And Television Club, International Film And Television Research Centre, International Children Film Forum, International Public Broadcasting Forum and many other associations created by Sandeep Marwah, have become supplementary to his vision of making Delhi as film Hub.

“The Shakespeare Society at Asian Education Group was formed to raise the level of theatre and induct literature into subjects like Cinema and Acting.” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. “a section in the library consisting of Shakespeare plays have already been created” added Marwah in a meeting for Shakespeare Society.
Presenting his book ‘The Data Bank Of Shakespeare’s Illinois’ and memento to Marwah Dr. Vikram Chopra offered all his support to the Shakespeare Society. Prof. R.W. Desai, writer of books like ‘Yeats Shakespeare’, ‘Shakespeare’s Latencies’, ‘Hamlet Studies’ and ‘Sir John Falstaff Knight’ also contributed to the new ideas. The meeting was also attended by Dr.Jyoti Desai of Delhi University department of English literature.

The results of the platinum batch of AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television was declared by the Dean with great excitement at the college campus and name of the toppers were stated.
