Mobile Will Be A Territory For Cinema-Sandeep Marwah
“India has fifteen crores of mobile phones having camera to receive signals and time is not far of when this will become the major territory for feature films collecting crores of rupees for cinema producers in just few days” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Entertainment And Media Committee of PHD chamber of Commerce at a seminar on ‘Cinema- Changing Dynamics of Media’
“Mobile cinema is catching on, I had the honor to direct the first mobile film of this country for Marwah Studios six years back .It will go into the history and Sandeep Marwah will be called father of mobile cinema in India” said Karl Bardosh producer, director, writer and educator from New York University in the capacity of chief guest.
It was first industry seminar of 2012 by the newly constituted Entertainment and Media Committee of PHD Chamber of commerce. Senior Vice President Suman Jyoti Khaitan, Secretary General Susmita Shekhar also spoke on the occasion. The seminar was attended by film, television and media persons from all over Delhi. The seminar was part of celebration of 5th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema 2012.

Ustad Eltaf Hussain renowned singer from Afghanistan was the chief guest. Anita Singh of Hindustan Times and Punam Sarin of All India Radio also spoke on the occasion.
Entertainment & Media Committee PHD Will Look into Industry’s Problems
“We have taken a pledge to assist, help, facilitate Indian Film ,Television and Media Industry through the good office of PHD Chamber of Commerce” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson Entertainment and Media Committee of PHD during the committee meeting at Centre.
The meeting was attended by the committee members R.K.Singh of Asian School Of Media Studies, Vipul Maheshwari Managing Partner Maheshwari & Co. and Chairperson of Legal Committee PHD, S.K.Sarkar FCA Sarkar & Associates & Chairperson of Cultural Committee PHD, M.J.Rehman of PCI Ltd., Yogesh Srivastava Secretary of the E & M C and Ananya Biswas Roy Senior Coordinator of the Committee.
It was decided to take up serious issues concerning Print Media, Radio, Television, Cinema, Media Education, Events, Music, Piracy, Media Laws and any other matter as decide by the panel. The copy of the minutes was forwarded to Secretary General Susmita Shekhar and President Sandip Somany.

Marwah Studios Endeavour to Reach Global Creative Space
Marwah Studios in association with Hungarian Information and Cultural centre hosted a painting and sculpture exhibition of 11 Hungarian artists as a part of 5th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema 2012 at its complex.
Inaugurating the exhibition Tibor Kovacs the Director of Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, Delhi said that this exhibition is another step towards developing and maintaining the friendship between two countries.
Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios said that the art knows no boundaries and it is the ultimate expression of human freedom and space. He also declared open the 5th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema of Asian Academy of Film and Television to be held on 20th January at Noida Film City.
Speaking on behalf of Hungarian Cultural Centre Harleen Singh said that all the paintings and both the sculptures have a lasting impact of the spiritual mood and ambience of Nasik and its famous river Godavari.

Poster For 5th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema Launched
“These extra co circular activities not only motivates but unite students of different streams and background in a media university like AAFT” said Dr.Devendra Pathak Vice Chancellor of Venketeshwar University while launching an attractive poster of 5th IFCC in yellow color which is supposed to be the color of cinema in a grand function at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.
A great excitement await for the participants from all over the World including host film school Asian Academy of Film and Television on 20th January when the Cell Phone Cinema festival will screen best films and declare attractive awards at Marwah Studios campus.
The Last date is 18th of January to submit your entry. The President of the festival Sandeep Marwah invited the students to put their best foot forward through their creativity in this latest version of film making. He said it is both an opportunity and a challenge.
Present on the occasion Prof Karl Bardosh Master Professor at Tisch School Of Arts, New York University who has specially flown to attend the festival will be taking workshops and seminars on cellphone cinema.

The renowned media personality of India Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios was honored at Thailand for his extra ordinary services to film, television and media industry for the last 25 years by a group of media persons at Hotel Millennium, Phuket and later at Hotel Four Seasons, Bangkok where Marwah was present to accept the honor.
“India and Thailand has wonderful relations which can be further promoted with the help of film and cultural activities” said Sandeep Marwah while talking to the Thai film, Tv and media persons interested in promoting their arts in India.

ASMS Joined Hands With BES Expo 2012
BES EXPO 2012, the 18thinternational Conference and Exhibition on Terrestrial and Satellite Broadcasting, India’s biggest broadcast technology show was organised at Pragati Maidan from February 11th to 13th, 2012. Asian School of Media Studies of Marwah Studios was nominated as the media partner for this great international show.
A team of 14 members of Asian School of Media Studies covered the event in video and still photography. Specialized interviews and comments were also gathered and recorded by the coverage team. The event was inaugurated by Dr. S.Jagathrakshakan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.
