Summit on Uniting Asian Countries Through Tourism at AAFT

Noida: The second session of the National Summit on Tourism at Marwah Studios had a wonderful theme of Uniting Asian Countries through Tourism. The delegates from all over India participated in the session.

J.P.Singh Director India Skills Development Council, Beni Prasad Agarwal Chairperson Association of Asian Union, Former Governor of Mizoram A.R. Kohli, K.K.Kumar Vice President AAU, J.S. Saluja General Secretary AAU and Gourang of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited were the main speakers. Anoop Saxena Director Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism paid vote of thanks.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah informed the house that, ”we are the only institution in the country who have so far announced 162 international scholarships to students from all over the World, 162 Joint ventures in making of short film, 162 radio programs on Radio Noida and 162 TV programs for MSTV to bring the World closer’.

“It has been twenty five years since we have started Asian Group, an idea behind this name was to bring Asian Countries closer through art, culture and tourism,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented the memento of the summit to every guest and the session was closed after the interaction and question answer round with the audience.

Honoring Achievers Is Motivational Exercise- Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: “It is very important to honor the achievers of the society for all that they have done in their respective fields. This awards and appreciation are the real motivational exercise for them. It gives new blood to people to work hard and promote many along with them,” said Dr Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts at at Global Excellence Award Function at Constitutional Club.

30 awards were presented to different institutions and organization who all have done extra ordinary well in their respective fields. The former Governor of Sikkim B.P.Singh and former Governor of Sikkim Sibtey Razi handed over the awards.

Ramesh Tripathi the President of the organization introduced the subject of- Save The Rivers and joined hands with Marwah Studios to start the National campaign.

Exhibition of Paintings by Iranian Painter at Marwah Studios

Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Asian Academy of Film And Television organized an exhibition of paintings by renowned painter from Iran Mehaboobeh Nikooghodam at Marwah Studios.

“It is the most fascinating collection of paintings from Iran. The exhibition has given a new set of knowledge and education to the students of this institution,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group while inaugurating the exhibition.

Indo Iran Film And Cultural Forum has moved ahead with this gesture. The exhibition is depicting Iranian culture and it has been so well accepted by the film, television and media students of AAFT,” said Hojatollah Abedi the Deputy Cultural Councellor of Embassy of Iran.

The painter and miniature artist, Mahboobeh Nikooghodam, completed her graduate diploma in Trehan and she learned painting at Hatfield Polytechnique University, London, UK.

She has held over 40 domestic and international exhibitions in countries such as: United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Canada, Netherlands, India, and alongside she has always been teaching paintings to her students.

Sandeep Marwah Invited For United Nations Day

New Delhi: A grand get together to celebrate the United Nations Day was held at United Nations campus at Lodi Estate on 24th October and Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios & Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Association was the special guest at the event.

The United Nations on Wednesday dedicated its iconic campus in Delhi to India’s cultural heritage as its office in the city marked the UN Day with a dazzling display of the country’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

Yuri Afanasiev, UN Resident Coordinator in India, hailed India’s cultural diversity and said, “I personally have a love affair with India, its rich taste, colours, sounds, smells and food.”

Welcome to the UN House and thank you for joining us to commemorate UN Day — the 73rd anniversary of the entry into force of the United Nations Charter. As one of our founding members, it is also the 73rd year of India’s membership of the UN, a country which has been one of the UN’s strongest allies,” Afanasiev said.

“We have recently completed 17 films for United Nations on subjects like Poverty, Drugs, Population Control, Smoking, Women Empowerment, Human Rights etc. Marwah briefed Ramdas Athawale the Union Minister for State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

The Minister appreciated the efforts of Sandeep Marwah. HE Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan also encouraged Marwah to support United Nations projects.

Team of Namaste England at Marwah Studios

Noida: The whole campus of Marwah Studios was bubbling with energy as the Team of forth coming film Namaste England entered the complex.

“We are here for film promotion of our new film Namaste England to be released on 18th of October all over India. We are overwhelmed by the welcome and reception here at my Alma Mater. It is a very pleasing experience to be here,” said Arjun Kapoor the lead star in the film.

“This is my first visit to Marwah Studios and I have come to know a lot about its activities. Film education is must today,” said Parineeti Chopra the lead star of the film.

“We are so excited to receive two big stars today at AAFT. Arjun and Parineeti have done extra ordinary well in the industry. We wish them a great success for the new film,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

Sandeep Marwah Part of Peru Exhibition at National Museum

The exhibition “Peru’s Fabulous Treasures” at Special Exhibition Gallery at National Museum inaugurated on 16th October and will continue till 30th November, 2018 is organized by the National Museum, New Delhi in collaboration with the Embassy of Peru in India.

“Peru’s Fabulous Treasures” takes you on a journey through Peruvian history, starting with Ancient Peru and the legendary discovery of the royal tomb of the Lord of Sipan,” said H.E. Jorge Castaneda Ambassador of Peru to India.

It then explores the most important Pre-Columbian cultures that flourished in Peru, including through forty original artefacts in terracotta, gold & silver and textiles from the National Museum’s collection. It then features the Peru-inspired Tanjore works of artist Sujata Pai.

“The journey ends with an examination of modern artistic manifestations in Peru, whether it be in painting, tapestry, dress-making,” added Dr. B.R.Mani Director General of National Museum

“Peru and India are countries with ancient and deeply rooted cultural traditions; cradles of civilization. Around 2,600 BCE, the cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro in South Asia, as well as Caral in the Supe River valley were in their full splendor,” informed Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum. A large number of people including many artists, diplomats and art lovers attended the inaugural function.

Sandeep Marwah Invited to Inaugurate Uzbekistan Culture Days In India

New Delhi: A week full of cultural activities including dance, drama, music, talks were planned by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India to project the similarities between the culture of two countries.

A grand inauguration function was planned at Pravasi Kendra and few important people were invited to inaugurate the cultural week in the presence of august audience of 300 people from different starta of life by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India H.E. Farhod Arziev.

“My trip to Uzbekistan has given me a very clear picture of our relations with Uzbekistan. It was like entering into your home,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the   opening function. He narrated all his meetings, associations with institutions in Tashkent and progress in the relations.

Dr. Naresh Trehan heart specialist, Anil Shastri son of former Prime Minister of India Late Lal Bahadur Shastri, Manish Prabhat, Joint Secretary-Central Asian Countries Ministry of External Affairs also spoke on the occasion. The guest of honors also released the 4-volume book on Uzbek language by Professor ShahidTasleem of the JamiaMillia University. The event was followed by well-choreographed dances by Uzbek group.

New World Record of AAFT With 100th Convocation

Noida: AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television a Twenty Five year old established film school today has created another World Record with the convocation of 100th batch of its trainees.

“We are so excited that today we have created another international record for our self as we are the only film school in the World who could reach to the 100th convocation,” said Sandeep Marwah President AAFT in the convocation in the presence of august audience.

Dr. Bardinath the Chancellor of Kalinga University, Dr. Jagannath Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University, H.E. Rabie Narsh Ambassador of Lebanon to India, H.E. Michael A N N Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India, Anil Khaitan Immediate Past President of PHDCCI, Padam Shree Sumitra Guha renowned Vocalist, Padam Shree Pratibha Prahlad renowned dance exponent and Jyoti Kailash Senior IAS officer were witness to the history being written.

Asian Academy of Film And Television has so far churned out more than 13000 media professionals hailing from all the 29 states and seven union territories of India and 120 countries of the World in last 100 batches of trainees.

100th Convocation of AAFT Was A Great Celebration

Noida: A great grand event was planned on the occasion of 100thConvocation of Asian Academy of Film And Television, an institution which has been rated as one of the ten best film schools of the World.

More than 100 students were passed out in different disciplines including Production Direction and TV Journalism, Editing and Sound Recording, Camera and Lighting Technics, Acting And Presentation, Sound Recording And Radio Productions, in one year and short term courses.
